I have a hd tv and was wondering if the cables are worth the 40 bucks or should i just buy another wiimote instead?  Right now the graphics look kind of pixelated and stretched even with settings on widescreen; its kind of disappointing.

Yes, you should definitely buy some component cables - they really do make a difference graphically.

you can find them for 30, and theyre definitely worth, it, it makes a lot of things less blurry, the colors clearer, and the whole image just sharper looking.

Not everyone gets the luxury of paying exactly $29.95 for the ones from Nintendo's online store. I ordered mine from there and with tax and shipping, it came out to around $40. To the TC, I think the component cables are well worth the $40. You'll get the best level of clarity and detail possible from your Wii.

If you sit about 10 feet away from your tv or don't mind a ton of jaggies go for it.

It really depends on what you prefer, blurriness or aliasing.

It turns out to be a must have if you play your Wii on a HD-Capable TV sets, or else you might experience slight delays on reactiion crucial games. Since HDTVs must scale a non-HD video signals, the TV is vulnerable to lag.
