are there any plans for a Metroid Prime Hunters 2?

The game did sell well, did it not? I'm surprised a sequel was never mentioned, since it was the only DS game with great online play. It was the only Ds game I really enjoyed, before I sold my DS.

not prime since metroid prime 3 was the final one of the series. the unheard of metroid dread could still be alive which is a sequel to zero mission on gba.

Well, if there WERE plans on a 2nd Metroid Prime 2, then they better NOT use some of the mechanics used in Hunters. Like the fact that the same bosses seem to instantley reborn and fight them again. And, the one that annoyed me the most, is when you have to hurry to your ship until time runs out. Then, you get out, the planet explodes, you take a look, and the planet is still there, untouched:shock:

It was a great FPS, if that's what you were looking for in the game.

I'd love to see a sequel, then they could work on beefing up the online and balancing some of the gameplay mechanics.

the singe-player sucked in the first one, but the online was great for a handheld. The only serious issue they would have to fix are the controls; the touch screen method hurt and the pure buttons method was too sensitive and made it really difficult to shoot a moving target. if they fix it for the second one then it will be truly awesome

The good thing about MPH was that it had online multiplayer while other FPS games on the DS did not. Hopefully if there is ever a MPH2 it becomes better.

if they made a sequal i would like it to be more then 4 player. it was a great online game for DS but some modes like capture the flag are weak without more players.

Maybe they should make MPH2 all about multiplayer, with no single player campaign mode. If they worked to make it all multiplayer they could probably get in bigger levels, 8 player support, 8 player download play, and a better WiFi act. I think it would be cool if you could log into wifi and see several rooms that each are holding a match and if one isnt full then you could instatntly join in, that way your not waiting forever for your DS to find 7 other people. And people with no wifi or anyone else to play could play a match against bots, like in the first one.

Eh, if they did, just make it multiplayer, or make it only story mode (a good one)

Nobody really wants both, its one or the other

In other news, Metroid Dread was debunked a while ago. Retro's taking a long vacation, so I wouldn't be expecting anything anytime soon. Kinda like Castlevania
