Are You All around Satisfied with your Wii?

i bought a wii only because of redsteel - the game that sucked me into nintendo's precision controller. next thing you know, i buy excite truck to see how driving works...and to me it was soo good that i got nfs carbon a few days later. when friends came over, none of them wanted to play any of my 360 games, not even halo or forza....just wii games. i later bought raving rabbids under a freinds recommendation - now its like a must play party game when theres more of us - trying to beat each others highscores. and long story short, i currently have 14 Wii Games. 14!!!!!! and the ''awesome'' ones like ssbb, mp3, mario kart, moh heroes, fifa, etc aren't out yet! i already pre-ordered smash bros, mp3 and fifa + i full paid for them...now i just gotta wait a couple months. can't wait!

so i got: 1) wii sports 2) wii play 3) raving rabbids 4) monkey ball banana blitz 5 ) excite truck 6) nfs carbon 7) redsteel 8) moh vanguard 9) mortal kombat armageddon 10) godfather bhe 11) scarface 12) loz twilight princess 13) madden 07' 14) trauma center 2nd opinion.

how could i get bored? soo many great games...... plus 27 gamecube games. oh yea...who said gc was a flop anyways? cause to me 27 gc is > 11 xbox games.

The only imprecise thing about Red Steel's controls is the zooming IMO, the aiming/turning/strafing and shooting are all really easy and intuitive for me. And Excite truck also rocks (if you're good at it).

sigh, i knew it would come, and im still gonna take the bait. Yes I'm looking forward to Mario galaxy and mario kart (even if just for nostalgic sake, i'm probably one of the few on this board that played the original on the SNES back in da day) Almost every other game that you mentioned , i guarantee you, will not score better than a 6 or 7 on gamespot. Thye exceptions being Madden and FFCC(I hope, fingers crossed they dont screw it up)and hopefully resident evil. And as far as sports game you can have em. With the exception of madden I couldnt care less about sports games. If you are happy with youre wii, great. Me? I'm still waiting for a little variety and some of the magic i felt playing wii sports. Wii fit? intereseting, but i was really disappointed to see that as the focus on Nintendos E3 conference.

A great online first person shooter than it would be perfect... and online BWII

I really like the Wii but there isn't much games for the console that I want so I'm not as satisfied as I thought I would.tryagainlater

im currently not fully satisfied with the Wii...but im sure with Mario Galaxy and Metroid around the corner, that should change.

yes, bought mine Saturday with RE4. Two things that seperate it from most systems:

1) They release games on the release dates with little delays.

2) They have the strongest early launch library that I've ever seen. The number of games that are rated between like 7.5-10 is like 30-40 good/great games.

I haven't seen a system start like that since SNES. If you don't have a Wii, don't wait until the "AWESOME" games start releasing because it's going to be even harder to find one. The increase in online titles may make it nearly impossible.

I know theres some wiigle room for game eviews, but , they are for the most part , usually right. A bad game is a bad game is a bad game. From where i see things, the wii has had a majority of lackluster titles released. Anything first party by nintendo is gonna be good. Zelda was great , Im sure galaxys gonna be fun and so on. But so far, the tird party support is still less than stellar. I cant stomach another horrible ubisoft port. I still think there is a ton of potential for the wii, i always have. but my enthusiasm for the system has definetly waned siince i bought it. And i still say Nintendos "big" E3 reveal - wii fit- was a huge disappointment.

Yes, very much so. I really only play with the wii when friends come over, so I'm satisified for the intent I purchased it for. Between MP8, WarioWare, WiiSports and Brain Age, we always have something to play. But I do still hvae all my GC multiplayer games so we have other options too!

I'm in the same boat as you. I watched it like a hawk when it was just a codename, I read my share of patents in the quest for the elusive ''revolution''. I pre-ordered one with drool dripping down my chin and used to be one of its biggest fans, I've even owned every Nintendo system ever and IMO its categorically the worst console they've ever made. I know whats coming out, I know whats ahead and I don't want any of it (with the exception of Bwii and RE:UC but I'm not exactly ''excited'').

i bought a wii recently because they had one at my local gamecrazy, and i have the 360 and the ps3 so i thought why not get the wii? the wii is alot of fun, just kinda annoying sometimes. i hate the sensor bar thing, and when im tired, i cant relax and play a game on my wii like i can my xbox due to me having to move around alot.

BUT IM NOT BASHING THE WII, i love the thing. im playing super paper mario right now and im addicted to it.

It's not made by the devs that made the original. Most of the devs are the people that made what i consider to be the best JRPG of all time(FFIX). Failure is not in their vocabulary :)
