I am horrible. No matter how much i play i never get better. I have had the game since the day it came out and I play it roughly every day i have free time, but i never seem to get better. Any pointers on what i should do? The team i currently use is Daisy, Toad, Hammer Bro and Dry bones.
it's a hard game. I'm barley starting to get grips on it myself. I never played the first strikers. you have to learn to charge the ball quick, and deke. practice in domination mode.. i'm just starting to beat level 3 cpu.
the game is hard, but still fun.. but damn the computer is good.. i wish my sidekicks worked as fast as the cpu's
I think the strikers cup is laid out poorly, and makes the game deserve the 7.5 GS gave it.
First of all good choice of players except for toad I would replace that ith either a boo or koopa. Second, The game really is simple there is only about five different really good ways to score and their pretty easy to master. First off you have to know how to charge the ball and get it to your shooter (hammer bros) do this by holding B to charge the ball and then pressing a or z+a in the middle to get the ball to white then it will be easy to score. Second you have to make good use of items whenever you get bananas you could just throw them away but if you get two shell's it should be an automatic goal, just go in the corner and knock everyone down infront of you and get off an easy skillshot. Three mistakes I see amatuer's make is 1)always go for six balls on the megastrikes you should go for four its quicker 2)Give away items for no reason 3)and shoot with the wrong people. Hope this helped If you want to learn some advanced tricks like how to go through the goalie or how to score every single time with daisy's item go to youtube and find daisy's special tricks and dry bones special tricks the guy who made it name is advance 64 those vidoes sure helped me. -@WalksÂ
In the long run though speed is the key you could easily learn how to score plenty of goals with daisy as captain she is defiantly the way to go. She might not have the best shot but she can use her deke to go through the goalie for easy goals and her special item is an atoumatic goal aslong as you can get a shot on net. -@Walks
Take your hammer bro up the field with the ball. Practice diks with him because once you get good you can easily run up the field with him. Get at an angle at the golie and be fairly close. Then charge up your shot, and it's 90% chance of goal.

Hammer Bro is pretty easy to stop, just act like you are going to hit him, then back away a bit while he uses his deke then slide or tackle him.

i am too, i cant freakin beat anybody, cause it seems like everyone uses the cheapest moves ever to win this game that are totally unblockable, i was gonna win the otherday finally, but the guy did a megastrike, and while i was pointing the wiimote right at the screen, my cursor disappeared on me, it just went away, and the guy won...
my usual set up is wiimote in left hand and nunchuk in the right, you know how awkward it is to move your player wiht your right thumb and not your left thumb. also if i flip that around to left hand nunchuck and right hand wiimote, you know how awkward it is to point the wiimote with your weak hand.
if you dont think this is awkward and hard, all you righties go and play with a opposite setup and use the nunchuck and wiimotesin the opposite hands.
and yes i stink butts at this game and many more cause of this
Im extremly good at blocking megastrikes, but everything else i suck at. I almost lost intrest in the game because i cant win a match, but im gonna pick it up again and conitnue playing to see what happens. I set a goal to beat every game i get for now on. For my PS2 i would buy a game play it for a few hours and i would lose intrest. I only beat about 1/3 of my games. But my Wii im planing on beating everyone i get, and mario strikers charged isnt gonna stop me.
I suck too. I'm 10-27 or something like that. I use Luigi, hammer bro, birdo, and dry bones as goalie. I'm getting better, I just panic when I'm online, and forget what to do. Its still fun though. Nintendo only matches me against other crappy players now, so its getting better. At first I was getting slaughtered.
I need more practice. I have lost more than I have won. I use Yoshi, Birdo, Dry Bones, and Boo. Boo I use for speed, Birdo for that egg shoot, Dry Bones for speed and that electrical shot he does and Yoshi for an all around player. Ive gotten pretty good at useing everyone for their purpose, I think I need more practice with my items (I some times forget they are there).
Ok heres the key. Always remember to try your best to fully charge your ball. Don't just hit (tackle) like a mad person. Take you time and guess where the Defense will be out of position. Get the ball to your best passer then to your best scorer once fully charged. Try and minmize hitting which results in items for the opponent. Force them to hit you. Protect the ball. Choose your team wisely. You can't have everything. I suggest having balanced players. You don't want slow players who are bad passers. Wait for players to deke then tackle or else you'll leave them open. On defense, try to get steals by anticipating the passes. Practice offline vs. level 5 cpu. Helps alot.
i think the game is crazy simple and easy, i win most of the time, online i won 3 lost 1 but i only had the game for 3 days and only played for about 4 hours total since i work most of the time. My brother actually beat me yesterday and it was after he'd been playin for 5 minutes, this game isnt that hard

I think the word your looking for is cheaper, I got the game yesterday and I have netted 11 wins and I think 26 losses. I have quite got the hang of all the cheap tatics yet, that everyone online uses. Also I only play Rank matches since my friend list is a little baren at the moment(respond to your PM's people) and I usually get matched up against the people who have played 500 or so games. and they know the ins and outs of the game fowards and backwards. Buts its fun and I should get better.

Alot of people suck at Madden, I use to be really good on the PS2, but thenI stopped playing for a few years. I started to get owned when I began to play again, but on the Wii I had a resurgance so I am looking foward to see where I stand against the rest of the Madden world.
