Absolutely. Haven't been this excited about a new game system in 20 years, since the NES launched. I got a SNES, N64, GCN, PSX, and PS2. Not impressed AT ALL by the 360; I hate shooters which is all it really has, and I'm fed up with MS's abysmal workmanship. I'm still a potential PS3 buyer, but I want to see some games and a large price drop; Sony has been making one mistake after another, starting with the three words "six hundred dollars." Graphics alone aren't enough anymore; they're not really improving very much, if at all. The Wii is awesome; loved Twilight Princess and Wii Sports was the best pack-in they could have picked. I love the Virtual Console too; it has been getting some awesome games of late. Plus, I'm looking forward to online Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Mario Kart Wii; kind of wish Nintendo would nix the friend code system but it isn't really that big an issue w/me either and at least I don't have to pay to use Nintendo's online service.

heck yeah! The only reason I'm getting a ps3 is because im a big metal gear fan. There will probably be no ps4 in my possession. Hideo kojima said he likes the idea of the wiimote so he will probably be making some games on the wii after mgs4 :)

I have a 360 and a Wii, and I really enjoy my Wii. It just needs a few more games and (In my opinion) a more unified online.

I got mine two days ago and must say that it's a must-have console! My 360 is for serious gaming and power but i just can't get some of my friends to play seeing that videogames are getting harder nad harder to master for newbies. No complaints though when they were playing the Wii!! It's really a social based console (not to say that the ps3 and 360 aren't) in a unique way. Btw the year's end seems to be jam packed with some good Wii games so dnt hesitate!!

You should get it during the holiday's because that's when all the good games are coming out. I got mine when it came out and I like it.

I loved it for about the first month thatI had it, but have barely touched it since then since no games have interested me recently except for a few VC games. I play my 360 a lot more butI still like the wii, I just wish there were better games out for it.

I love the Wii, and I also love the games I have (twilight princess, trauma center, and super paper mario) and am hyped about the games coming soon (umbrella chronicals, mario galaxy, metroid prime 3).

I laugh every time I see posts or topics about the Wii's graphics, as I feel they're fine and the gameplay rules. But then I went out and picked up an X-Box 360 and am playing Halo which was out in 2001, and the last couple days playing, I can't help but wonder if the original X-Box could do amazing graphics like this in 2001, why can't the Wii do the same or better in 2007?

But I'm sure Metroid Prime 3 will impress the masses in just a couple weeks or so, myself included.

Am I happy with the Wii? Oh yeah...so is my six year old daughter.
