Hey, which pokemon are Banned on Wii-fii battles? or tournaments?
the ones concinder "Ubers"

that would be because you and your friends dont understand the tier system. its defined by uber and OU, not legendary and non-legendary. the fact that articuno is a legend doesnt stop him from being horrible any more than garchomp being non-lengendary makes him ok for standard play.

You are right about the Battle Tower banned Pokemon, but wi-fi battles online or user-run tournaments have different banned Pokemon. Set by the users.

Who apparently know everything. Somehow.

er, actually, you got it wrong AGAIN. you listed pokemon banned in the battle frontier, not from wi fi battles. phione and the rotom forms are not ubers.neither is shaymin land form. garchomp is an uber.

You have got to be joking. Smogon is considered to be the epitome of the competitive Pokemon Society. The tiers are tested constantly, and testing for one suspect Pokemon can take months. The smogon tier system is not below you. You are below the smogon tier system. Unless you can list one way that Salamence is actually better than Garchomp, I'm still going with smogon. Ju

st some counter arguments before you start:

1. Garchomp has better typing. Dragon and Ground is a great offensive typing and Garchomp gets STAB on both. Those two attacks end up being resisted only by Bronzong and Skarmory, and Chomp's Fire Fang/Fire Blast (depending on the type of Chomp) hits both of those for SE damage. Not to mention Mence takes 25% damage from the omnipresent Stealth Rock, while Chomp only takes 6.25%

2. Garchomp has better Speed (a sweeper's main stat) and better Bulk. You don't see many "sweepers" with 108/95/85 defensive stats. Those even beat Swampert's which is considered a good bulky offensive.

3. When Garchomp was OU, people needed specific Counters just for Chomp. Skill Link Cloyster was used specifically just to get rid of Chomps with Subs, Yache Chomps, and Sash Chomps (which was almost all the chomps at its peak). Ice shard was also much more important of an attack. Battles tended to be over who killed the Opponent's chomp first (and if your foe got rid of all your garchomp counters before they did their job, you were dead for sure).

4. Garchomp Owned the metagame. It had a higher use rate than any other Pokemon in existence for the OU metagame, and each new Garchomp set that came out made a huge shift in the metagame that no other Pokemon could do. When people started using Yache Chomp (after it was proven to be extremely effective, it was laughed at first), People needed more Dragon Moves, and the earlier Mentioned Cloyster became actually logical to carry. The only other things that shifted the metagame near as much as one of Garchomp's good sets being thought up would be Platinum's release(Bullet Punch on scizor being the most notable changes from of the Platinum release), and Garchomp being banned.

Sorry, I thought you meant battle frontier. Some of the user tourneys I enter ban those, I don't like those rules. I use the battle frontier a LOT to test out my EVd pokemon. I haven't entered a tourney in a while.
