Metroid Prime Pinball! :PRod90Fantastic game. A hidden gem of the DS library. NOT the best Metroid game though :P
lol, but is has "Metroid" in its title:P[QUOTE="gamefan67"][QUOTE="GabuEx"]
Metroid Prime Hunters should not even be on the list; it's not a Metroid game. :x
GabuEx
I could write "Metroid" on a brick; that wouldn't make it Metroid. :P
The game doesn't even have any metroids in it!
haha i couldn't agree with you more hunters was just sad online play pitiful and online was full of ball attack spammers or snipers it was the worst 35$ i ever spent, the game has no right starting samus and having the name metroid in itFor me it is Supermetroid with out a doubt, I was not a fan of the prime series. To me that was not metroid. I played them all, but never replayed them and didnt even finish the last 2, got close but lost intrist. Hate the prime series.
I'm Just now finishing metroid prime which is my first metroid game. I was so use to regular FPS's and their linear design that I really didn't know what was going on in the beginning, but then it caught on to the idea of the game. I love exploration in games and this has been great so far. The puzzles are great the controls are the best for any fps i've played and the game still even though I believe it's an 8 year old game looks great to me and better then most games you find on the wii today. I only wonder since I was told in the original gamecube one you can't run and gun if I would of enjoyed it as much since that seems very odd to me. So I guess since it's the only one I've played I'd have to say prime, but I'm hoping the next 2 prime games and other M are just as great.

yeah, i definatly missed this place!I definitely think Prime 1 (the trilogy version) was the best. I really enjoyed Super Metroid but I think some of the gameplay hasn't aged that well. I guess I'm a little more unbiased about it as it's a game I missed during the SNES era and just played it recently. I guess it's been a while where I played a game that you actually had to read the manual. I had no idea what shinesparking was and how to do them and wall jumps are way to hard to pull off. Once I got it all down though and got the grapple beam the game suddenly got easier and was much more fun. I'll have to play fusion at some point though. I'm hoping it's the same concept of Super Metroid but a bit more modern.
[QUOTE="raahsnavj"]After replaying both Zero Mission and Super Metroid in the last week I have to say Super Metroid is not the better of the two. It has slow-down for one when the screen gets busy. They have improved the button layout for Zero Mission too, I love quick toggling from my special to my gun in an instant in Zero Mission. Really, I think people need to play them both back to back without the nostalgia glasses on. They are both great, but I have a hard time understanding why anyone would pick it over Zero Mission.BobblesI played Super Metroid, Metroid Fusion, and Zero Mission back-to-back-to-back and I still prefer Super Metroid. Was it the best controlling of the three? No, but I enjoyed it more and prefer not being told where to go from those chozo statues/computer from the other two games.
So do what i did with all 3 games of the series, turn off the hint system. That made the experience so much more memorable.

Uh... you can't turn it off. This isn't Metroid Prime.I would say Metroid Prime 2, but since it isnt on there, I voted for metroid prime. I really enjoyed Prime 2, oh yes how I love the game.
