gunna say World Ends with you, brilliant story,characters and battle system. The other choices are great but i don't like them as much since i've played them before and Soma Bringer seems good of what ive played it but of course its in Japanese.
Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy IV are both great remakes of the original. So, in my opinion, the best true DS RPG would be "The World Ends With You". Would've been a close 3-way contest anyway.
I didnt liked TWEWY's battle system, my vote is between CT and FF4. As some of you already said, both are remakes, but who cares, they're still awesome and the story is great
Chrono Trigger cuz its the one that really kept me in the game, felt like I was in it. I played it for the first time on the Final Fantasy package that included it on the PSone.
Well, I haven't played Soma Bringer or The World Ends With You, so I couldn't pick either of those. Personally, I thought final fantasy 4 was an alright game but not really my type. I would probably rate Chrono Trigger as the worst of the 3 games I've played on the list(My opinion, it won't change). So, that leaves Pokemon as the Rpg of chioce for me, though i don't really play it that much anymore(I used to but got kind of bored with it after I beat the pokemon league, and I didn't want to fill out the pokemon dex :| ). Though all the games are good, of the 3 I've played

*Nelson points and laughs at you* Ha-ha! Well, its not his fault if SE is better than Atlus *hides* nah, i'm jokin. I would go for TWEWY because its a great and innovative rpg, pokemon is meh... ok but not deserve to be the top... FFIV and Chrono Trigger are great remakes, but yet i wouldnt choose a remake to be the top rpg of a system. I never played soma bringer.
