It's based on whether you'll be playing at home with friends often or primarily by yourself and online. For the former get SSBB. For the latter get MKW.
It depends on how much money you have. If you will be able to get another one in a month or so either one is fine but if you wont be able to get the second one for a few months mabey brawl is the better decision. Mario kart is fun too though.
