BWii multiplayer dissapoints . . .

Well, it turns out from people who have BWii in hand that there is no split-screen/local mulitplayer. Co-op mode only has four maps/missions, you start with three and unlock the other.

The Skirmish and Assault mode are confirmed to only be 1 vs 1, and there are no leaderboards, although your win and losses are tracked in your own profile. There are 6 maps per mode, though I'm not sure on that part.

I was hoping for more from BWii in terms of multiplayer. I'm kind of dissapointe, this franchise has the potential to be epic. Maybe BW 3 will fulfill potential, if there is one.

And my god Nintendo, the lack of awareness on this game is pathetic!

Isnt it 4 v 4 for multiplayer and if what you say it true about the coop then im gonna cry.

BWii should have been good, obviously Nintendo should have had a bigger role in the development process.

This game WOULD have gotten an AAA IF:

it had at least 8 players and different modes because thats alot to process. There is command mode where you cammond a squad of all the different types of units and in this command mode there is Team Deathmatch, Deathmatch, CTF, and as many as they could do. Then there is one man unit mode where you only control one character and there is team Deathmatch, Deathmatch, CTF and each team has a leader to give commands.

One man unit could go up to 32 players and Command mode goes up to 8 players.

2 player Coop

all of these are local play, LAN, and online.

Also I would use the controls so you can drag a shadow over your troops, and basically make the controls really intuitive and revolutionary instead of waggly and I would let it so you can command your troops from the MAP.

The single player story seems the only thing right thing.

NO, a fully functional multiplayer not a half hearted multiplayer that is sluggish.

ME too, in fact I got all perfect scores on each level. That doesnt change the fact that this game had an eASY chance at AAA status and simply threw it away for no reason. You know how psyched people on here would be if they made MY version of the game? Yes you know it, i know it, I dont get why Guru and Nintedno dont know it.

No they care about every game that they are willing to spend money on. They are sooooooo stubborn sometimes I lose sleep over it at times lol.

does it really matter? with the extreme lack of online games at the moment, any sort ofonline multiplayer games would be great. besides, it looks like the awesomesingle player campaignis good enough to make up for it.

No we cant settle for crap like that. Thats why we are getting this because there are only a few people like me who are willling to point out the bad parts because for some reason there cant be a game with all the versions of multiplayer.

bwii is an burn for me now have 2 wait for dbzt3/mhoh2 for online

what is bad about the controls? i heard they are excellent.

One to pick up when its a budget title, much the same as the majority of the games out now then. Not knocking the Wii, I did the same thing with most of my PS2 and GC games and I enjoyed them more for it, that way I don't sit there playing them thinking "I paid full price for THIS?".

I have no one to play with most of the time, so for the most part local multiplayer is useless to me. Leaderboards...do they really matter? And the rest of those sound fine.

I will be getting it tommorow.
