Can anyone recommend a good somewhat long lasting game?

I am looking for a new gamefor my DS.  Preferably an action/adventure/rpg game that won't take an hour to beat.

Please no Pokemon or FF3 because I don't care for either.

My current games

ACWW, Brain Age, CastlevaniaPOR, Hotel Dusk, Meteos, NSMB, Phoenix Wright 1, Zoo Keeper

try Lunar Knights, i havent played it, but it seems to fit your criteria.yungboi

Already played it and got rid of it.  IT was okay, but after a while I got tired of it.

I have never been a FF nut an refuse to pay $40 for a DS game.  I never like Pokemon, but bought Diamond and thought I would give it a try, but just didn't like it and plan on selling it.

Well Phoniex Wright 2 is a good choice, try getting megaman ZX that's a good one O just got done playing Kirby Squeak Squad and I liked it, you'll probably beat it in like a day or two Metroid Prime Hunters is a good one to.  Haven't played it but alot of people say that Custom Robo Arena is good and the Castlevania games are suppose to be good too!

I highly respect that in a gamer. a person needs to know exactly what the want before they buy to ensure they save money and have more fun. 

What about New Super Mario Bros. I hear ir rocks old school and is fairly long, or even Super Mario 64 DS, it is the same as the original but has been given new characters and divided abilities so it is kinda retrofitted for new playthroughs. Or, wait for the phantom hourglass.

Seconded.  I have about 244 hours of gameplay on my AWDS cart.

I picked up Starfox off of ebay yesterday.  I am thinking of picking Dawn of Sorrow and/or Puzzle Quest.  I already have NMSB and am not sure about getting AOE or AWDS because I am really not a fan of rts games so I don't think will like either of those.  I am also thinking about Yoshi's Island. 

you should definatly pick up Super Mario 64 DS its so fun lasts for a very long time and even better then the original becasue of more stars better graphics more characters and abilities and over all just a fun and challenging game.:)

It can hardly be called better than the original. Super Mario 64 is considered to be one of the best games ever made, unlike it's DS counterpart.
