I haven't really looked for a wii since early January and after my friend left his wii with me for the weekend im starting to like it. Do people still have to wait for shipments and wait outside for the wii or is the availability much better now?

I can't ;) But you know i only goto walmart to check every once in a while. Depending on where you live you may or not beable to find it. Toys R Us, targets and smaller stores are usually good places to check. Best buys, large walmarts, and other sell very fast.

around here (waterford, MI) you don't exactly have to wait in line but they are gone within a few hours after the store opens

Finding them in stores can be done, but you got to be there when they put em out.  Try gamestop, and find out when their UPS runs, and then be there, DAILY.

Sundays are the days to go, man. Get up early and hit a few stores.

National Availability average is currently at 3%.  You may not be able to just walk into a store and pick one up until late April or May.  Best chance is to find out when shipments are coming and wait for 4-5 hours before the store opens.

most the time they have been having more than enough for the waiters.  We are talking 60+ for a line of 20-30 people.  What stores have been doing is they stock piles their shipments during the week and sell them on sundays.

I haven't even come close to finding one. I've been calling all the stores near my area. Closest I got was today. When one store had the Wii...but they were only selling in bundles for 600
