Yeah they completely bombed this year. Star Fox looks like it could have been on the Wii. And the lack of quality games, especially Wii U games, to show was kind of sad. Xenoblade looked good but that's about it.

Boy, oh boy, was that bad. They kept harping about the damn Mario Maker. Oh well, I got a release date for Xenoblade, so I'm good. I wish there was a mainline Metroid for Wii U. Nintendo definitely didn't win. Not even close.
Nope. That was the worst conference of E3. No doubt.
Yeah I wasn't too impressed either...
Instead of real Animal Crossing, Zelda or Metroid Prime games we just get a bunch of multiplayer minigames? Hopefully some other interesting stuff will surface over the next couple days.
It was nice to see more footage though of X and Yoshi's Woolly World, both of which I'll be getting. Can't wait!
Conference was sub par.

Nintendo bombed this year... They had such potential, but they are messing up star fox / metroid and everything was just so boring... Stop with mario maker, nobody cares anymore its the same thing every year

Yea, Nintendo has moved on to NX me thinks...hehehe.. :P
Yeah, looks like some Nintendo fans expected too much from 2015. Did yall really think they would release that many games for the Holidays? I get we didnt get a new Metroid for 2015, or a new Animal Crossing for 2015, or a new Kirby Dreamland for 2015, or even a new 3D Mario or 3D Donkey Kong for 2015, but come on, 2015 is almost over.
Yea, Nintendo has moved on to NX me thinks...hehehe.. :P
And it's disappointing. I hope Zelda still comes out on Wii U. If it doesn't, that will be the first time that I'm aware of that Nintendo didn't give one of its home consoles a unique Zelda game.
@mesome713: its not the release dates, its the fact there was barely anything notable and most of the series that were, looked like they were being abused. Worst e3 show of 2015
@l0rd_magikarp: They promised to keep it 2015, im asking what did yall expect? I think they have a great looking 2015 lineup, its a nice collection for the holidays.
It was cute, but nothing blew me away. Overall very disappointing with a closing as bad as their Nintendo Land fireworks display. Previous Directs brought more hype than this E3.
Looking forward to Starfox, Fire Emblem, SMTxFE and Xenoblade.
@ANIMEguy10034: Yeah, i didnt care for the Puppets, but my friend loved them. Super excited for the line up, great games for 2015.
@mesome713: It looked pretty mediocre, I think most people would agree. I was so hyped for the conference, but this was a real let down...
The real shocker is Wii U remains at $299.
That is just a slap in the face at this point. Wii U is just such a poor deal at that price. As they've essentially abandoned the platform already you'd think they'd want to move existing stock, but nope. It's like they just do not give a shit.

Yep. The worst E3 conference so far.
The FE trailer was completely incomprehensible - mostly in Japanese with no indication of what kind of game it is or the world set-up. It looked great but the whole trailer felt like it was a for the Japanese audience, complete with credits for Japanese VA's that will probably not even be featured in the localised release. And keep in mind I understand Japanese, and still couldn't make sense of what I was looking at. Is it an RPG? A music-and-rhythm game? Some kind of freaky hybrid?
And then there was that terrible Xenoblade trailer: Xeno has had a few trailers up to this point, all of them blood-pumpingly exciting. This one was really limp and poorly slapped together. If I wasn't already hyped for the game I'd look at it and think "meh". And then there was the complete absence of any big, impactful hitters to round out (or round off) the show. Taken on their own the announcements were nice, but without a big gun in the mix the whole thing comes of as limp. Still, Mario Maker is a helluva better big gun than Wii Music *shudders* now THAT was a terrible year.
No...last year was better..this one was waay flat.. at least got a release date for Xenoblade X Wii U ...showed Starfox & FExSMT but no Fatal Frame 5 release dates or Devil's Third. :P
Fatal Frame has just been quietly confirmed for this Fall: http://gematsu.com/2015/06/fatal-frame-maiden-black-water-launches-this-fall
And Devil's Third is confirmed for August (at least for Europe/Japan): http://gematsu.com/2015/06/devils-third-european-release-date-set
@Hatiko: They should have squeezed that trailer into the digital event instead of having that cute, but unnecessary, Mario montage. Definitely picking it up.
Nintendo can absolutely win another E3. They just need to get their head out of their behind. If they're smart then they'll go back to a stage show next year to announce the NX and with it announce launch titles including the next 3D Mario, Zelda, Animal Crossing, new IP and a major third party effort to garner in the masses. They'll also need to make announcements that they're taking online seriously (they should even make fun of themselves about their previous 'efforts'), show off a unified account system, a place where I can download all titles going back to the NES and that they'll embrace 3rd party development on their platform. Oh and please no ridiculous control scheme.
I know that's a lot to expect but I think that's what it'll take if Nintendo wants the masses to take them seriously ever again.

Hopefully it's a twilight princess situation.
