Actually, yes you can replace them (I've done it). There are numerous retailers that carry replacement top and bottom screens (PM me if you need some links). It's not exactly super easy because you are dealing with small and delicate electronic pieces, so if you've never done something like it before I'd read some guides/watch some YouTube videos on the subject to see if it's in your level of technical skill. Note, you will also need to purchase a triwing screwdriver in order to get inside to the guts of the DS. SonOfTheSky05

Nintendo will only send you a new one if its under warranty right? Because I dropped mine and now there are like lines that flicker across the touch screen, and my warranty has been up. Can I send it to them and get a discount on a new one?killkingIdk, but you could keep closing it and openning it to get a crack on the hinge. Then they would replace it for free. LOL :D
