No, you don't need 2 DS's or any cables, you just need a DS with Diamond on Slot 1 and with the GBA pokemon game on the slot 2, then when you beat the elite four, go to Pal Park and transfer 6 pokemon for you to capture, I hear it isn't hard to capture them, but it's harder to find them, Pal Park is just like the Safari Zone,
if u can what do u need to do it?CLICK14I think you just need Pokemon Pearl or Diamond plus Pokemon Greenleaf, Firered, Ruby, Emerald, or Sapphire in the GBA slot.
But can you get your pokemon back to your previous versions or is it permanent in the dS?The_Nintendawg
Not completely sure, but read somewhere that its a one-way deal. That's a major drawback if you want to continue to play with specific pokies on the eariler version.
But can you get your pokemon back to your previous versions or is it permanent in the dS?The_NintendawgYou CANNOT transfer back to the gba version once its been transfered to the ds. Also the only requirement you need on the gab version to transfer to the ds version is to have more than one pokemon since you can only transfer pokemon from your box
Are there any Pokemons in R/S/E or LG/FR that you can't capture in Diamond or Pearl?TeZhII think just the Legendaries
