It should've been better advertised. I only saw a few ads for it in a few magazines and websites. At the same time though, it was a good game and a lot of people didn't give it a chance. Possibly a sleeper? The Wii is now a system for everyone and those that do have one now, are more than likely going to get games that allow more than 2 people to play. Party games is a good way to put it.

Well, they gave us Res 4, Umbrella and Darkside Chronicles. We had the port of Dead Rising. So what else could they give us? Dead Rising shows exactly why we shouldn't want any dumbed down games from the 360 or PS3. So the best we can hope for is that they do their revamp of Res 2, like they did with Res 1 on the Gamecube.Evil_Robo

Dead Rising used the RE4 Engine for Wii. What does that tell you?

Loved Zack and Wiki, really made you think with a little trial and error. I would rather have another one of those than a rail shooter.

I agree that it all comes down to marketing. Now that practically everyone owns a Wii(in my office there are about 15 people who own a Wii but who before getting one had never owned a gaming system before) publishers have got to realise that a large of percentage of Wii owneres don't read gaming magazines or gaming web sites and may not actually be all that interested in gaming in fact. They just go with what they see on the tv. Last year everyone in my office was talking about Wii Sports Resort, Wii Fit Plus, and New Super Marios Bros - why? because they saw adverts for them on tv and in windows and displays in various shops in the high street (even supermarkets). So, if you want to have a big hit on the Wii, you need to market it. You really need to get out there and shove it in people's faces, otherwise 90% of Wii owners will never even know it exists.

For what it's worth, Z&W was a good game but perhaps a bit strange looking and really quite tough in places. That reminds me, I have to load it up some day and finish it.
