Do you think it is so late in the development of SSBB that even if it was decided to put Castlevania in it, there wouldn't be enough time to make their deadline? While I think the lineup is great, I still think the presence of Konami seems hollow without Castlevania in a game of such epic characters. Besides, you don't know the full lineup of the game, I doubt they've announced even half of the fighters. Who knows, they may have, although very unlikely, put Castlevania characters in there. But really, why do we need more? We already have Metal Gear and Sonic characters.
