o_O Wow, i believe this is quite a rare case, i've seriously never heard of a similar problem brought up anywhere...
Maybe you would wanna try to present this case to the dealer you've got the DS from, your sister might have got herself a fake/un-original charger.

Man, that sounds like a pretty bad situation. I guess you should just try your hardest to dislodge the AC adapter. A DS isn't all that useful if it has a 6 foot cord hanging from it at all times :)

Wow, i have never heard of a case like this. I would imagine you got a cheap/fake AC charger for your DS. I would go back to the store you got it from and complain. But what i would do would just be keep pulling on the adapter until it comes out..

I also can't really understand how the AC plug got lodged in there in the first place. The AC port on the DS doesn't have any clips or latches where things could get stuck. I'm guessing if you just pull at it at the right angle it will come out

I suggest jiggling it around, although its possible that somehow it was bent while inside The DS. Which your only option would be brute force :(

Good luck with that

Take it back to where it was purchased. If they can't offer any help, then send it in to be repaired under warranty.

PULL IT OUT!

Seriously, I don't see how it couldn't come free from the plug. You could always take it to GameStop, make them unhook it, and if they break it, make them replace it.
