Check out some new info on Silent Hill: Shattered Memories. It at-least eases the pain of this Nintendo and Tecmo Fatal Frame mess, the Winter cancellation, and the on-railing of Resident Evil and Dead Space (not that theycan't be goodgames, after all I did like RE:UC),and its also another survival horror game to look forward to on the Wii beside Cursed Mountain ( which I'm also looking forward to). Here is some info.

Five page interview: http://wii.ign.com/articles/971/971319p1.html

After reading this I'm officially pumped over this game, third parties are really stepping up to the plate this year on the Wii.

: O looks great. The game seems very different than the original, they also changed the nightmare world, I hope they just don't screw it up.

Umm...hello people!! Why aren't more of you talking about this? I've never played a Silent Hill game, but this has definitely piqued my interest. The flashlight looks amazing.

Holy. Crap. The lighting looks amazing. I was a huge fan of the original, but this one looks like it blows that one out of the water. Yet another game that I'll need to play.

This is absolutely spectacular! Just look at this quote from the interview! "When the Wii was announced, we all heard about the great new things it could do for the core gamer. We were told it wouldn't be all music sims and exercise tutorials -- there were real games on the way too. It took a few years, but Silent Hill is here. This is the game you've been waiting years for. It's mature, it's tense, and it has everything you're looking for in a "real" survival horror game, because it is one. Oh, and it's not a rail shooter." These are the guys I want making games for Wii. MUST BUY!!!

Been a fan of the series for a long time, I've played all the SH games but 4 and HC. With the smarter enemies more open world and things changing based on how you act. I think this game could be the RE4 of Psychological horror (Instead of pure action horror). Here's hoping it comes together as good as it sounds.

No weapons is fine, but I do have a small worry that they won't be able to keep the action/intensity up the whole game without any weapons at all. I think everything looks amazing so I'm really just nitpicking in trying to find something wrong.

I just read through each of those. Wow, that sounds absolutely amazing. I love the idea behind this game. I have never played a SH game before (plan to play the rest of them eventually, including the original version of this), but this has made me really excited for the game. I love how the game changes based on how you play, which will also make multiple playthroughs that much better.

I'm pretty sure they maybe some way to dispose of some enemies, it just means you will have to be clever and use the environments in some form as opposed to hitting, stabbing or shooting anything that moves. Anyways I think this game will still be pretty intense having to outrun, out think, and out hide these monsters because you are just an ordinary guy, well at-least to me this will really ad up the fear factor.

I got an adrenaline rush just reading about this game. It can't come out fast enough. This sounds like it will be a real horror game unlike say RE5. Not that RE5 is bad but if you can slaughter an entire villliage by yourself and have enough weapons to arm a squad of the US Marine Corp, or 10, then thats not really horror. Thats an action game with ugly enemies. Man I hope this turns out as good as it looks
