I just bought Xenoblade and thought about getting the Cl@ssic Controller Pro. I like thats it's like a PS3 controller with an Xbox controller's shape, and I like having the second stick instead of just one. But I was wondering wether for $20 it was worth it as unless it is compatible with the Wii U I will never use it for any other games.

If you have a classic controller don't go out and buy a pro..but if this is your first classic controler then go ahead and get the pro...thats what i did.

Yes, the Classic Controller Pro is well worth the money and it will also be compatible with the WiiU. Even if you have an original Classic Controller you should still pick up a Pro, it feels much better and dosen't feel as cheaply made.

The Classic Controller Pro does feel quite comfortable but I know how you feel. I got mine for Monster Hunter Tri, then forced myself to use it for Mariokart and Super Smash Brothers to make the purchase worth it, and found it was better than the wiimote+nunchuck setup i was using before it. Guess I'm using it for Xenoblade too. It looks like it has the same number of buttons as the Wii U Pro Controller, so maybe they'll allow you to use it for that. It probably will be Wii U compatible though because they still plan to use Wiimotes as controllers.

I wish that the Wii U Gamepad Pro would have had the same button placement or at least off-set sticks. Granted, I have not used one yet, but I think I would prefer the right stick to be under the buttons. Obviously it has gone through a ton of R&D, so it may end up being comfortable. If it isn't, it would be great to be able to use the CC Pro instead.
