I have spent hundreds or thousands of dollars on Nintendo produccts and registered them prior to Club Nintendo launching, and absolutely none of that is worth any coins?
Please tell me I am doing this wrong, because if I am not, that is absolute and utter crap.
I wont be joining until the Super Nintendo Wii controller is available.....-OathI've already been there and registered, and it's very unfortunately that you do not gain coins for a single previously registered title.(so far... I really want my extra 500 points...) Besides, there are special benefit prizes for reaching Gold or Platinum rank. From what I saw with Club Nintendo Japan, there were exclusive prizes, such as the TV Wiimote and Tingle's Balloon Fight. Odds are that the Famicom(or SNES) Cla$$ic Controller could be a prize for level of membership.
Unfortunately this is one point Nintendo has screwed us over on... -_- I hope they do something, since I have 500 points on the line.

This needs to be mass-mailed to Nintendo.
Or else Jaysonguy's strategy might be the right one to attack Nintendo with.

Apparently, when you sit down and actually delve into their collection, you get the experience for the people it was intended for. It might be a little cheezy or a inaccurate, but you have to remember it is a game, not real life.
But yes, there are games from Ubi that should be avoided like the plague. Just like Sega and Nintendo, nobody is immune to gaming equivalents of Limburger cheese.
You might nibble a bite, but only someone who already knows they like it will buy the whole package.
Do 3rd party games count when registering your games???GamerBoy53Nope. Only games that have them are published by Nintendo. The only exception is the Shop Channel, but there are so few titles available to choose from on the Shop Channel list, combined with the fact that the old game you have registered do not add up to your account.(let's hope I'm wrong...)

I was looking forward to this for the easily obtainable exclusive stuff. I guess it's not so easy. ****.
When my account transfered, it prompted me to complete all the surverys of games that I already had registered, then I registered a handful of games that I had just recently bought, so now I'm at around 400 coins.
But to go back to the not retroactive stuff, it does suck that the I'm getting cheated out of essentially 150 coins for the WiiWare/VC games I bought over the last year, even the game I bought last night doesn't get me points!
i have tons of stuff registered already, you mean to tell me they don't count for anything????CharlieStinksExactly.
crap, was there a popup? i didn't see any surveys. When my account transfered, it prompted me to complete all the surverys of games that I already had registered, then I registered a handful of games that I had just recently bought, so now I'm at around 400 coins.

Is it just me, or is the site having serious issues with Alzheimer's?
I log in, do one single thing, then go to the next page and it's like "durrr i dont remember u, plz log in again".
It's true. I've logged in 15 times in a hour.Is it just me, or is the site having serious issues with Alzheimer's?

It's true. I've logged in 15 times in a hour. Sounds like you have cookie problems. Check your browser settings and make sure you're accepting cookies from sites. Okay people I'm having a problem. When I try to log in with my MyNintendo account, it just gives me an error saying, "Welcome to Club Nintendo. Transferring your My Nintendo account to Club Nintendo is easy, but we may need some additional information to complete the process. Please click "Join Club Nintendo Now" to continue. NOTE: Make sure to provide the email address associated to your My Nintendo account to successfully transfer your account." But then when I go to register, it won't let me because it says someone else (aka. me at MyNintendo) using my screenname, first name, last name, postal code, and address is already registered. So how the hell do I register and transfer my MyNintendo account over?!?Is it just me, or is the site having serious issues with Alzheimer's?

Oh, and when I go to "Earn Coins", I get logged out for whatever reason.

Not all games qualify for surveys (and therefore, for coin earnage.) Only these games work: Wii Games Animal Crossing: City Folk Big Brain Academy: Wii Degree Endless Ocean Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess Link's Crossbow Training Mario Kart Wii Mario Party 8 Mario Strikers Charged Mario Super Sluggers Metroid Prime 3: Corruption Pokemon Battle Revolution Super Mario Galaxy Super Paper Mario Super Smash Bros. Secret of Mana Sonic the Hedgehog 2 Space Harrier Space Invaders Get Even Space Invaders: The Original Game Street Fighter II: Special Champion Edition Strong Bad Episode 3: Baddest of the Bands Strong Bad Episode 4: Dangeresque 3 Strong Bad Episode 5: 8-bit is Enough Sudoku Challenge! When you click the title, it should drop down a box showing two interlinked squares, one saying that it's been registered, and the other prompting you to do a survey.Yeah, I have a ton of games from that list and none of them are offering any surveys. They ask me to register the game on my To Do list, but when I enter my PIN, it says I have already registered.
Hum, now I can't even log in.
For now, I'll chalk this all up to server tomfoolery.
Um, maybe this is a silly question, but it did tell you it was transferring your MyNinty account, right? The logging out happens frequently for everyone I think. Though, I've already sent in an FAQ asking about the points for previously-registered products. I'll have to check the reply when I get home today, since I'm at school and can't access my email.
you are not the only one thats happening to, i am having that problem and even it signing me in, i have to try around 3 or 4 times for it to workIs it just me, or is the site having serious issues with Alzheimer's?

I can honestly say that Nintendo has screwed over ALOT of people that registered their games (Like Me for instance) previously to the release of Club Nintendo. I just tried to re-register one of my games and also got the Red Words of Torture "You have already registered this game". I wonder if I made a new account, would I be able to register my games and get my just desserts? What's even More screwed up is that I would easily be a double platinum member seeing as I have over 50 Wii games, over 50 DS games but not many WiiWare/VC Games. Geez Nintendo. Well, for the people that haven't registered yet, have fun with those rewards.
Just logged back into my Club Nintendo account, and I'm glad I'm wrong. :) Now I got a list of a bunch of games I must do surveys for my previously registered titles. Just letting you all know that it indeed was a glitch with the server. ;)SomeOddGuy
I've also loged back in more than once and the only games on my to do list are the 9 I just registered. Games I've already registered before aren't showing up on my to do list. How do I get them to show up so I can take the survey's?
I feel really foolish about this, but does anyone know how to get your username for club nintendo if you've forgotten it? I tried the "forgot your password" option, but it only lets me change my password. inflammable01Start doing the signup, but put the same email as your My Nintendo account. When you click "continue" after filling out your email, if it's the same email, it will say "oh lol looks we know you, let's shorten the process cuz you're from MyNinty" and then proceeds to give you just as long a process, but this time, acknowledging that it already knows you.
Some of those games should still be able to get you coin. Look at the list of games I posted above. Go to your "Get Coins" tab (if it signs you out, sign back in and it should bring you to that page), click the title of the game and a drop-down screen should appear that tells you step 2 is doing a survey. Do the survey.I can honestly say that Nintendo has screwed over ALOT of people that registered their games (Like Me for instance) previously to the release of Club Nintendo. Nevermind, I got it to work. I just logged back in again and on the main page for Club Nintendo I scrolled down a bit and there's games listed on my to do list now. And they have expiration dates, some of them expire in 2012.
I've done the transfer (it said transfer was successful), but I can't log in at all. I have even sent password resets to my email, so it's not a mix up on my user name, password, or email.
Really ticking me off. I'll just try again later. Hopefully it's just an issue with the site getting flooded.

I had the same problem.... Just keeping trying to log in, regardless of what it tells you. It should work eventually, though I'd suggest waiting anyway since the server seems busted right now. It'll log you out after almost every page change.
