Club Nintendo rewards - Platinum and Gold 2011

Here are the prizes that the Platinum and Gold members will be recieving

Since last year was a Mario figurine, maybe this year can be something Zelda related. Or a downloadable game would be nice.

I'm hoping it's Zelda related. I just managed to reach Platinum status today (somehow I forgot to register my copy of Twilight Princess, and I still haven't registered my copy of Fire Emblem: RD and possibly others).

I'd like a Link hat, with the pointy ears and hair as well. Kinda like the one you get on Animal Crossing. And they should make it bigger then the Mario hat, so we can actually wear it. Or maybe some sort of Zelda Figurine for the 25th Anniversary.

Or they could offer both of those and let us choose one like they did for the first year, though that would be a pretty tough decision. But I guess it'd depend on what the figurine was. I'd probly end up going with the Link hat.

As long as it's not a Mario related item again. As much as I like the Mario stuff I just really hope it's something else, it's going to get boring if it's Mario every year.

Something Zelda would be my preferance

a real looking pokeball, great ball, ultra ball and masterball with nice little legendary figurines inside (one from each generation? or personally, just mew, mewtwo, ho oh and lugia :P) would be really awesome. Combined together they wont be that much bigger than that mario statue thing they had last year (i've only seen a picture of it since i wasnt a member at that time)

I would like something Ocarina of Time or 3DS related but I will be happy with anything.

Guys... Nintendo isn't going to give anything like Wii points cards or games that are already in stores, they would want to give something authentic to Club Nintendo that you can't get anywhere else.rubber-chicken

I bet it will be something with Zelda in it. It is the 25th anniversary for Zelda anyways.

Do Gold and Platinum members get the same gift. I hit Gold this year and hope so. I was only a little less than 200 away from Platinum.ill4mation

What would be the point of getting Platinum if you got the same prize for only being Gold??? If that was the case it would be stupid to register all your games to get Platinum when you could save them for the next year. Any whose, Gold members will probably get another lame calender.

Will they tell us before the "year" ends?? I'm not up to Platinum yet, but if it's a neat prize then I'll scrounge up all the points I can find. If it isn't worthwhile, I'd like to stay at Gold and save my remaining games to register for next year.

Maybe a free download of Link to the Past on Wii or Link's Awakening on 3DS in honor of the 25th anniversary? Would be awesome for me, I'm planning on buying Link to the Past soon. The problem is that a lot of people have these games...

They probably arent going to give away stuff they can sell to people, like Virtual console games or point cards. Here is all my Club Nintendo items ive received- Zelda Collection for Gamecube, a box of colored DS styluses, a pink stylus for some Kirby game I bought, something Metroid that I cant remember, Mario hat, Game and Watch Collection 1 and 2 for DS, Mario character statue, Club Nintendo Messanger Bag, and the Zelda OOT soundtrack cd. Where can you get these besides Club Nintendo??? Only on like Ebay, Amazon, Craigslist, or other 3rd party online places.

Well I find that to be very disappointing, I was really hoping for something Zelda related. I wish they would do something other than Mario, though I have to admit a pin collection is a bit lame, even if it had been Zelda pins I would have probably been disappointed.
