I was surprised to receive an email from Nintendo saying that Club Nintendo is coming soon. I am curious if people outside the US are in the Club Nintendo for their region, and if there are any worthwhile benefits for joining.

I'm a member of Nintendo Europe. You can register consoles and games for points, and from those points you can buy items like wallpapers, ringtones, keyrings and things like that. It's a really nice system, though there were much more items in the shop in the Gamecube era. Also, back then, when you registered a game you got wallpapers, screensavers and things from that game for free.sictelikou forgot to mention the best thing: u can trade in those points for wii points which u cna use to buy games on the vc. u only get 100 wii points for 400 Nintendo points, but it's better than nothing. i bet almost everybody can buy 1-2 vc games if he registers all his games and his console.

Indeed, I'd have a gold mine of points. I can't wait until it hits the States so I can get my special items/wii points!
And I hope they retro the points for games/consoles already owned...goheat
Seriously. I have a buttload of games that I can get points from, if they did retro. Can you get points from Gamecube games cause i got atleast 30 of them.

I heard there is and I can't wait to join.Probably. Nintendo Europe still gives points when registering Gamecube and GBA games. But I doubt that a new registration system will support old games when it hasn't been done before. Can you get points from Gamecube games cause i got atleast 30 of them.
