It probably will have an offline split screen mode. Modern Warfare on the other consoles does have it, so there is no reason for the Wii version to not have it.Haziqonfire
Well, there is the fact that Treyarch might not know how to do it on the Wii. I mean, they gave us piggyback co-op in World at War....

[QUOTE="Sepewrath"]They did give Wii owners nothing, they are simply attempting to cash in on an now irrelevant title and make sure that a year doesn't go by without a COD game for the Wii. Hoodstock

OK Zelda guy. Go back to playing the Octrine of Time you downloaded from Wii Ware!

Yeah, you sure showed him wrong by that :|

I'm assuming this will be a more complete game, compared to its counterparts, than WAW was since they've had so much time to plan this and work it out.

I'm not convinced until I see gameplay footage.

Also, the Wii does not support Dolby Digital 5.1, it supports Dolby Pro Logic II.

Actually I think it does. Guitar hero 5 for wii is using that sound I think and a few other games I think but I'm not sure. Also its note a big deal. I'm hoping its full featured and have split screen and headquarters. The campaign for cod4 is epic so I'm not worried bout that.

IW is the most overrated developer ever.

I will likely end up getting this due to a lack of FPSs on the Wii, though I am concerned about the lack of competitive online multiplayer. Hopefully, that's just an error.

How would you do competitive offline multiplayer if there's no split screen? On the other hand, I'm starting to think they got the description of offline and online multiplayer modes mixed up (offline should be team oriented only and online should be competitive and team oriented). BTW, I hope there is no online co-op mode.

They would do off-line co-op without split screen my making one player the guy who moves around and shoot as normal, and the other player would have just a wiimote and could only point at the screen and shoot.

Think of it like a two-player mode in a rail shooter.

In other words, lame.

That wouldn't be competitive though. It would be team based.

So, this game is COD4, and it's coming out after COD5 (on the Wii). Is there a point in getting this? We already have the later, more updated game anyway. Wouldn't this be like releasing Grand Theft Auto San Andreas, then releasing Grand Theft Auto 3. Why would we go back to a lower quality game?

I say this because I doubt they will update graphics or content.

To me this is kind of annoying, I wish we got COD MW2.

If GTA3 wasnt released before San Andreas, i would have played it if it came out after San Andreas. Why shouldnt u play COD4 now? If u have already played it on another console, i can see that there is no reason to play it. I havent played COD4 so far and im really looking forward to play it on the wii, especially because i enjoyed WAW a lot.

Knowing how cheap treyarch and activision are, they'll just give both players a score. Highest score wins. That way on the box they can have a bullet point for two player competitive.
