Is COD4 really coming to Wii or is it just another damn false rumor?

No. Gamespot didn't announce it. Kotaku announced it a day earlier then Activision did.

lol, then your going to see the game and go :
Why? It already looks better than WaW. Not only that, but it's not gimped like the other versions (the only gimping is due to the limmitations of the hardware this time). Plus, we get controls that could possibly be better than The Conduits (button mapping and settings to make the Wiimote feel as much like your controlling the game with a PC mouseas possible). That sounds like pure win to me.
My only issue with the controls is the lock camera button is still mapped to the same button that makes you pick up weapons, so it's unuseable (but not really needed anyway).

The game in no way looks better than WaW, I'm sorry.

You should be sorry :P
Did you ever see the screens for WaW? They are terrible. The thing is, after getting component cables, the game itself looks just as bad (the smoothing affect is gone).

The MW screens look like an early last gen underfunded title:(

Pre Beta Screen Shots man.............The thing is, Treyarch has ZERO credibility that would lead me to believe they will improve on it. BETHESDA said their racer is the best looking thing on the Wii, and we saw what a joke that was, and I put Bethesda miles ahead of Treyarch/Activision.
I would love to see them come out with some gameplay footage that looks decent, but if they are in pre-beta 2 months before launch, do you honestly expect much?

WaW looks like a mid nineties title.
Online is even worse.
