i dont get why nintendo is using their first party games costing like 35 bucks.  i mean, i can pick up third party  games used for 20 bucks and the used games from nintendo still cost 30.  Do you think if they realize if they bring down the prices, they might sell more.  I mean i dont like buyin good new games because it costs so much, so i wait till they go used which can sometimes take A LONG TIME if the came is soo good. do you think that they should lower the prices at least to meet the third party games/??

Software is selling so well many popular titles don't stay in stock yet you want them to cut prices so "they can sell more"?

How do you sell more of "all?

I agree with the tc.That's about the only problem I have with Nintendo. They almost never lower the prices of their games.Remember the n64?Those games almost never went down in price either.

You do understand that's the retailer right?

Nintendo only suggests the prices they want games to be sold for. If a store wants to charge less they're more then able.

Why would they lower the prices when they still sell so many?

Sell more, maybe, but they'll make less. The first party games have no prbolem selling whatsoever. $40 for a new game isn't that much, at all.

Used game retailers choose used game prices. You can find some, ven good ones, for $14 Canadian. This means that if you go to the used games store, you'd probably find a few good games for about $10-$12.

Here in Russia we don't have any factory, which can produce DS games, so they cost about 50$

IT is real problem. You don't have such so don't cry)

They don't drop in price because they are high quality, and people are willing to pay the normal price for them.
