Conduit 2 Pushed to March

So says this IGN article. Conduit 2 pushed back to March 22nd:

Well helpfully these delays will only make it better.

So now when it's broken we'll hear excuses like "oh the deadline and we couldn't delay it any longer"

February the original release date has the following big games:

Portal 2, Mario Sports Mix, Marvel Vs Capcom 3, Dragon Quest VI, Bulletstorm, KILLZONE 3 (direct competitor and would totally overshadow this game)

March has:

Dragon Age 2, Pokemon Black/White Version, Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Crysis 2(direct competitor and will completely overshadow this game), and Darkspore.

They are both filled with releases that would make people forget about the Conduit 2, aside from development issues, the only reason I could see them delaying is that its less competition in March.

This might become another Splinter Cell: Conviction. Or possibly even never get released. Actually I would only consider it not getting released if they had pushed it back 6 months or so. I think its terrible though, they originally delayed it so that they wouldn't have to compete with Black Ops. That means that the game should have been complete in November. Now I am starting to think that it wasn't done in Nov to begin with, but they used BO as an excuse to give themselves more time to work on the game. Jurassic85

Guys, remeber that some of the best games in history had huge delays, notably Brawl and the The legend of zelda oracina of time.

Not saying the conduit will be the best game in history, but it'll still be good. Unless highvoltage screw s it up big time.

I have a funny feeling the devs want to fine tune this game like crazy to make it get better reviewer scores this time.

It could work that way, but you could just get your freinds to buy it. It might come in a bundle. or you can just buy it on its own for about $20.

you know, i think the first delay was because they wanted to launch the wiimote plus controller first.
conduit 2 uses WM+ and wii zapper people would have been left out if not for wiimote plus.

I agree, I doubt the game will be any good, but just watch it be the most amazing shooter on the Wii alongside Goldeneye 007, and become a huge hit. :D

A shame. The window for this for me was February. It isn't going to be bought by me any time soon then. Maybe used and very cheap or not at all now. March is when a lot of money is going to be spent (or start to be spent) on the Nintendo 3DS. I have mine already pre-ordered. My focus in gaming will be on that hand held in the future save for some key Nintendo games on the Wii (The Last Story, Xenoblade, and some other IPs they decided to bring back) and maybe a PC game or two. My console buying in general is pretty much done otherwise for this generation. Don't really have as much time as I used to for them. Other games I was interested in might get picked up used or priced really low and that can be year or more away. That's only if I'm still interested in them after all that time. I was interested in Conduit 2 but the opening to buy it isn't going to be there.

I am actually glad for this because I have SO many games to buy that any help I can get spacing them out helps. And Conduit 2 is near the top of my list.

I'm thinking they just need to work the bugs out. If Ninty allowed patches I'm sure it would release on time. Wish I could get a patch for GE about now.
