I was thinking about getting a Nintendo Wii in a few months, but want some reasons why people love it so much. I already have a 360 and share a Ps3 with my brother and i play the 360 every day. So please tell me if the wii is worth buying since i have a 360 and Ps3.

Why don't you do research on your own? If you haven't the slightest clue why you should get one then I won't recap everything for you.

If you don't already genuinely want one then wait another year.

Wii offers a unique experience that will compliment your traditional HD games.  3rd party support is increasing every day.  Nintendo is releasing all of its big 3 hitters holiday 2007 on top of the good games already out.  Plus, Wii sports with friends/roommates/family is a blast.  If you're hard up for women, Wii sports is a chick magnet.  If you want hardcore games, it has that, it also has more casual games.  I personally have beat Zelda TP, epic, more traditional game enhanced by the motion controls.  Nothing's as cool as physically aiming your bow and arrow, etc.  Also, I bought Excite Truck a month ago - this is probably my favorite Wii game yet, very intuitive controls, fast action, but it's very deep too.  I also recommend Madden (see the review), Elebits, Red Steel (very fun shooter), Trauma Center, and Super paper mario.

The Wii user base is also growing so fast that many more "mature" GTA style games are out for it.  The Godfather is actually one of the best Wii games out now, see that review, the controls are sweet.  Also, Scarface and Manhunt 2 if those are your bag.  Plus, you have access to old Nintendo classics as well as Genesis, TurboGrafx, and soon NeoGeo.

In general, I think people like it so much because

#1- it's fun to move and see your actions translated into the game, it's a different kind of immersion than HD graphics

#2- The motion controls add a new level of depth (in good games) that make it more rewarding for the hardcore gamer

Nobody here gives a rats @s* if you get a Wii.  Just don't get one and save it for someone who really wants one.

And Stop posting these.  Just look back for another "convince me to get a Wii" post.

So tired of these threads, can these people not make a decision themselves? People want a wii because of it's innovative controls, it's cheap, and will have nintendo and some good solid 3rd party support. Is this reason enough?

all I'm going to say is 3360 is going to die next year by sony's own hands while the nintendo wii will have boring games (except for ssbb) because if you have played PS2 and xbox it is not worth buying a wii but it is perfect if you have GC and like to download classic games off VC.

I don't think you should buy one.  You should let someone that actually wants a Wii to purchase one.  Wait until you are sure that you want one.
