No way. If anything, 2009 should of been. It sucked. 2010 has a lot going for the Wii, and it's only February.
I don't think so, I think it's going to be the opposite.
If SMG2, MOM, and LOZ all come out, this year will be the best for the Wii and be better than the past two combined.
HHmmm... 2010 could very well be the downfall of the wii, as no good games are coming out.
Oh, wait, reality called and informed me that the wii is still the best selling system, and this year, we're getting Super Mario Galaxy 2, Metroid: other M, and Zelda wii (according to Aonuma)
So, no.
In a way, yes, 2010 will be the downfall of the Wii. I think 2010 will be a big year for the Wii with games like LOZ, MOM, SMG2, Epic Mickey, NMH2, Red Steel 2, etc. It may just be the last hoorah for the Wii. Nintendo's big three have taken years to develop and therefore may not show up on the Wii again. Some develpers recently took chances on the Wii and were disapointed with the results. EA, Sega, and Ubisoft will likely not produce big budget hardcore games for the Wii again. So, where will the games come from after 2010? I can't see Nintendo doing anything less than revealing a new console for 2011.
No. 2010 will most definitely not be the downfall of the Wii! There are so many great games lined up for release that Wii could have a major comeback where sales are concerned. BUT, thats just about it. Wii will have nothing more to offer in 2011: no new mario, zelda or metroid for the Wii then. So 2011 may be the downfall of the Wii, but definitely not 2010.:)
My question is that is there any way in which nintendo could release a Wii peripheral that could upscale the Wii's graphics? Or will they have to change the console all together? We had a N64-DD, but that didn't upscale the console's grahpics! so is there even a slight chance ... that ... in the media summit we will see... yes, a Wii HD:!::question:

Keep in mind that game development takes time. Games released this year were developed over the past few years. If you are wondering what Ubisoft is going to do in the future, look no further than their site:

What they say:
"However, not all of the Company's games have reaped the full benefits of the measures implemented, with James Cameron's Avatar™: The game and several non-casual Wii titles reporting lower-than-expected sales."
Thus,
"We intend to continue to refocus our development resources on our major franchises and on the Xbox360 and PS3, the two consoles which are expected to see sales growth in games for gamers in 2010. Ubisoft has already demonstrated its capacity for success in the high-end games market thanks to Assassin's Creed 2, with sales 40% higher than for the first title. The 2010-11 line-up – which is stronger in franchises for Xbox360 and PS3 – reflects our refocusing efforts and should enable us to both win market share and enhance our profitability."
Translation: Ubisoft will not be investing in Wii games for gamers.
