Dead Space: Extraction is out in Australia :D

Just by chance walked into JB thsi morning & saw this on the shelf for $95AUD :?

I grab it anyhew ...the only gripes I have is ..again no advert whatsoever. There's loads of what I consider crappy - barbie, bratz etc etc with more copies shelf space.

Dead Space got 1 space on the shelf, that's it...if I didn't look more carefully wouldn't have even notice it..

Anyway can't wait to try this out tonight after work :D

I was under the impression it was out tommorow 24th in Australia? they must have got their shipments early, i am guessing there was no street date/embargo (like what happened with NFS Shift)illmatic87

Oh yeah, the forum curse, it always happens when you have a lot of work and you say, hey, let's go for 5 minutes to see what's going on in GS, suddenly, it's 4 am and you can't finish because you lost a lot of time in the forums. :P .

Anyway, i think that RE: DC looks better, gotta have to see some reviews and videos though.

Fortunately, I managed to pry myself away and get something done. Unforetunately that something was possibly less constructive that GS forums.

I'm really undecided about which I think will be better but I'm gonna pick up Extraction tomorrow and RE:DC when it comes out so I guess I'll find out. I'm a bit of a sucker for on-rails shooters which will probably raise the ire of the haters. Oh well.

I'm playng it right now. My first reaction was "wow!". It looks seriously amazing. It also seems to be a good game.

Played abit last night, up to chapter 3 ...only gripes what is up with Lexine??? ...the character design of her is atrocious, just a white flat colour look, looks like a Michael Jackson impersonator or she's trying to play the role of Joker in future Batman movie.

Other than that Im enjoying it so far :D

I bought it today and managed to finish it on hard while only failing once. Didn't die but I let Lexine get killed at one point by accident. Looking forward to playing it on Impossible difficulty over the coming days. I'm really enjoying it but I wish there were a few more boss battles. It isn't as good as Umbrella Chronicles but I'm still happy with it. I'm also looking forward to the challenge of the high score system when I get into that a bit more. Sweet deal with the narrated comic as well. I'd give it 7.5.
