Yes I bought for Pokemon since I new Nintendo would eventually make a Pokemon game for the DS, so I bought for that when the DS was released and I played a lot of the DS games and there's a lot that I really liked but now I'm just sitting patientl'y for the Pokemon games.

same here but also for all the awesome touch screen games, cheaper and kooler than the PSP :D plus i got the mario kart ds limited edition red one right when that came out
Well I had the original DS and I wasn't planning on getting a DS lite because I didn't think there were going to be many more good games coming out that I would want to play on my DS lite. But Pokemon made me buy a DS lite. Just got it yesterday!
no, and u should never but a game system just to play the same kind of games unless you REALLY love it... i bought mine to play all kinds of games and also cause it has a touch screen
No, I bought it for fun. Diamond/Pearl will be a great addition to a game collection, but it's not the reason. The reason I bought my DS is because I wanted a new portable system, and the DS had all the features that appealed to me. I didn't get it for a certain game.
of course.. :D I got mine about 2 weeks ago, before they would be sold out everywhere so that I could play pokemon diamond =). I love pokemon games even though I grew out of all those card collecting and waking up every saturday to watch it about 5 years ago. (14 now) I have no game, just waiting for pokemon, but I'm not planning to ONLY have pokemon, I'm planning on getting other great titles. for now.. me and my onyx ds will be waiting til April 22 >:O I'm so excited!
