only had 64 Mb carts that was the biggest size and only the games that used the xpansion pak to play them.
the ds currently uses 128 Mb games for gba games. the ds uses 256 Mb carts for mph and other 3d games. but they can make bigger ones for more space about 2Gb. also the games that would be need this is the ff crystal game and zelda ph they have been pushed back alot could this be the reason to put more stuff in the games and release bigger cards for more money.

I think that he's trying to say: would you pay for a DS game for $50 instead of $30 to increase the size and have it have better graphics and more memory?

Another 64, this time it's bits not K.
It was the system with the graphics,
and the cutscene cinematics,
made us goldeneye fanatics,
armed with semi-automatics,
an' I'm trying to be dramatic but it blew us all away.

loadingreadyrun's 64k FTW ^^

No, I wouldn't. Sorry, but I'm not paying $50 for a game to last an average of 15 hours. The increase in size would be good, but still not enough for me to bite.

The 64 has nothing to do with graphics bittage. I think it has to do with CPU bittage. The 64 didn't refer to cart size either.

As great as FFIII was and the fact that I definitely don't regret having made that purchase the day it was released, I had a hard enough time getting myself to pay 40 bucks for it... Let alone 50. I don't think I would buy any DS game for 50 bucks.

I would not pay $20 more for a DS game just because the card has more space on it.

I'd pay 50 bucks for a game if it was either medium length and amazing or long and good, at least.

Actually the 64 was referring to a dual 32bit processor setup not the cartridger size. The DS can currently use twice that much storage on the cartridges because of the 1 Gigabit cartridge format.

i dont know how much a memory card like the DS's costs for a 64MB... but i would definitely pay like a 100 bucks if the card was maybe 1GB or 2GB... imagine the gaming possibilities, 20+ hand-held gaming, 3D graphics, actual cutscenes, (i cant think of other things)...

Wow, you guys... Just wow. So many uninformed posts in this thread alone, I don't know where to start.

Storage doesn't mean better graphics if the hardware can't support it, and it doesn't mean a longer game either.

Nevermind, I'm not even going to bother arguing.

What's your point? Do you believe the 64 in the title had something to do with how much data could fit on the carts?
