Different friend codes (not a "need friends" topic)

I have noticed that none of the online games have yet used the wii friend codes as there FC's. They all have independant FC's and this is really starting to annoy me. Why did nintendo even bother making wii FC's if all they are going to use it for so you can pointlessly text people from wii-to-wii. Im starting to think that that was the only reason the made the wii have its own FC. Is anybody else starting to get annoyed? and is there any info of a game that has been confirmed to use the wii FC's instead of its own?

Friend codes are dumb. I have no idea why Nintendo insists on using them so much. Hopefully they will actually realize that friend codes are NOT HELPING ANYONE, and in fact, are more of a hindrance than anything else.

Thank you Nintendo, for trying to protect me with 16 digit numbers!
