Do Wii graphics bother you?

I am a Wii owner, and I have to say it. The graphics are not very good. I know Nintendo wanted to go the route of appealing to causual gamers, but at least make the graphics better. When comparing to the 360 (which I also own), the Wii doesn't hold up, especially 2-3 years down the road when the 360 developers unlock the true potential of the system.

So here's my question to you. Do the Wii graphics bother you?

But then again how many games were built specifically for the wii.  Not many as most were Gamecube projects that got transferred to the Wii.

very true

the devs are really lazy, and just build games using GCN dev kits. But the thing that sucks...is that they wont change that, as long as the Wii continues to sell as amazing as it has been.

Lets not care and play the games if you dont pay spefic attention to them there not bad and as a last resort if its so dam bad close your eyes

Agreed. I'll get back to you on that one once the real wii games start coming out.

Not really. But then, I stilll think the Dreamcast's graphics are acceptable.

graphics don't bother me that much if the fun part is there

like .. if you played baseball on the xbox, it was okay (i don't specialy enjoy but it's not bad)
i go play baseball game on xbox 360, it looks nicers, but i press the same buttons, at same time for the same results

now i play baseball on my wii, ME, I'M HITTING THE BALL, now that is really funnyer !

*i don't have a xbox or a 360, but i have a ps3 and a wii, i played the baseball demo on the PS3, hitting the ball by moving the sixaxis is really far from being as good as with the wiimote*

well most of the games havent used the full advantage of the Wii's hardware but no they dont bother me because its about gameplay but yea graphics are a little important

yes the graphics do bother me(especially seeing how horrible Pirates of the carrabean and far cry, looks like i'm back at N64 days :P)

i hope that devs will actually try in the future seeing how much the wii has sold over all since it came out

yeah like the one dude above, the graphics do look even worse on my HDTV all spread out and stuff.i hope that they will make an HD component that will make the graphics fit my TV correctly

No, the Wii's real graphical capabilities don't bother me. What bothers me is when a game like Far Cry or Spiderman 3 is released that looks near N64 level. It makes it seem live 3rd parties don't really care about making the games actually good, and only care about making a quick excuse to use the "super awesome motion control." To the Xbox/ PStool, this basically says that the 3rd party devs. think the Wii is going to fail, and are just saving money by making crap quality games. But to the unbiased eye, it looks bad too. It looks like the Wii is getting lackluster 3rd party support, which plagued the Gamecube's life cycle.

At least we can always depent on Nineetndo...   :]

I'm 100% satisfied with the graphics on the Wii. I get blown away once in a while by a gorgeous game, like Twilight Princess. I was satisfied with GameCube graphics, to be honest.bluezy

Yes, especially the fact that I can't use a component cable to even sharpen them up since that's what my 360 is currently using, I guess I'll have to use VGA for  my 360 or something, i don't know. It's not like it lessens the quality of the game but even Super Paper Mario, which should be very sharp and brilliant, is dull and boring compared to even Xbox Live Arcade games such as Heavy Weapon or UNO! So yes, graphics do bother me, but I still love my Wii!imjusthatawsum

Just unplug and replug the cables for both systems. Unless you constantly alternate between Wii and 360, it's not too much work.

no.....when u pplay the wii gamez u wont even pay attention to the graphicz..would anyone mind playing wii tennis with gamecube graphicz? i woouldnt mind...u'd be too caught up playing the unique wii way to care bout graphics.

If I wanted graphics, I'd have bought a 360 or PS3 by now. As it is, I want fun so I bought a Wii.

Seems like most people are answering like that - folks buy a Wii because they like the fun side of it, or because you're a Nintendo fan. X360 and Sony fans will slag off the Wii graphics because it justifies their console choice.

yea, wii's bad graphics really drag down a lot of games. Pirates of the carribean and spiderman would have been way cooler if the grpahics had just been a bit better. Plus wii's control scheme wrecks some games, some wii games need a gamecube control for them.

Yes they do bother me. I would expect at least a reasonable definition as it now look horrendous in 480p. I agree graphics isn't everything and certainly not the most important aspect but it should at least not be so noticeable.

I bought Mario Strikers and while the game is fun and cool, the graphics make my eyes bleed.
