There's a chance anything can break.

I once broke one of those "unbreakable" water bottles. We threw it off a building, but it still broke.

There is always that chance that there are some defects like in any other system but nintendo is very good at fixing or just replacing the system for you

It's a piece of machinery. They always give out eventually. But luckly the Wii's failure rate is very low.

I've had my Wii since launch time, and I have had no problems with it. The only problem I've seen (not on my Wii), were like physical damages to the Wii (the little top part that covers the GC slots, broke off on my friends Wii, things like that). I've heard of a couple of times were people had to send it it, but it's pretty rare....I think o.O.

Mines broke. Started grinding and eating my disc. Had to send it in, and they sent a replacement that would not boot to the Menu. Got an advanced replacement this time, and I hope I don't have to go through this again.

had mine since day one, and tbh, its had a few knocks, with a game in, the game didnt crash, and the disk didnt scratch either, so unless u get a hammer to your wii, then the chances of it breaking are pretty slim, it will only break if its already bad from the factory, it wont "just break" like the 360, ite well made, and all its hardware has been tested and works fine under normal conditions

They break just like everything does but if people were to post "My Wii is working perfectly no problems what so ever!!!" you would see that there would be a lot more of those posts then ye old "Had to send it in for repairs..."

Mine broke, but In all fairness, I was pretty rough on it. I sent it in to Nintendo, and I think they're gonna repair it for free since I still have a warranty. Nintendo's got the best customer servce of all 3 systems by far.

I accedently made my friends Wii fall of the "holder thingy"

I was playing a gamecube game and accedently pulled to controler too much and made it fall.

Of course we got a shock for a little while... and then started playing again.... nothing happened :D

That bloke is mental. There's a lot of people out there who want the Wii more than anything else.
Besides, who would pay $250 for it and then destroy it?

I'm scared because when I poped in my smg game it froze and it said "An error has occured power of your system" or somthing like that then I ejected my disc and pressed my power button like 100 times and it still had the same message so I had to unplug it and plug it back in then it was fine but I hope it does'nt break :(

sorry for my horrible grammar

mine had to get replaced twice, but it was easy to do. i was unlucky, most people dont have problems with theirs.
