That or a Nintendo Wi-Fi USB connector. I would rather get the router because you can do so much more on it. For example, you can have online systems, online on a laptop, and much more. So i recomend getting a router rather than a Wi-Fi USB connector. Get a router. :D

You don't have to, since Nintendo released the Wifi USB Connector that works with both the DS and Wii. Datel has something similar which also enables PSP wireless as well. For these to work, you have to have a PC (obviously), install the software if you wish, and play.

Side Note: You will need to keep your PC running as long as you want to play Wifi (with these pieces of hardware anyways) which can get a bit annoying, but it's all up to you. If you are looking for a router, do the research and firgure out which Wireless router is compatible with all your hardware, and has good support. Also, I would strongly suggest NOT going for the Draft-N routers, regardless of how well it might work.

Get a USB connector. I've used both it and the router. They both work basically the same, and the USB is much cheaper. I have the USB and have no problems at all when I use it for my DS or Wii. If you have money to throw away and your one of those dudes who likes to go way beyond just using it for to simply play online, then get the router.
