do you have to with wii sports resort?

i got wii sports resort but i only go 2 wii motion pluses. do i need four to play four-player?

On some events, like golf, you can simply trade off controllers if you don't have enough. Others require 1 controller per person.

I'm pretty sure you only need 2 M+'s. I think all the 4-player games you have to take it in turns

Yes, you would need 4 WM+'s in order to play a game that requires a controller for each of those 4 players. To my knowledge, the only game that requires this is Canoing, is it really that worth it? You can just trade around one controller for the other games that have more than two players.

You need one WM+ to play by yourself.

If you want to play with others, you need more than one WM+. I think you're okay with two though, because some of the events you can just use the same controller as someone else when it's your turn.

I think you only need 4 if you like to canoe or to cycle. Other than you, you can have one Wiimote and switches off among the players.

Yeah, the only ones that could possibly use 4 at the same time are canoeing and cycling. Everything else can be done with just 1-2 units.
