I don't like it is boring and there are some glitches in Wifi.

It's an alright game. Nice for parties and such. Online is very good.
But I wish I could get my money back on it. I tricked myself into getting hyped for it. I remembered that I used to have a lot of fun with the old games when I was like 11. So I boughtit and realized that I outgrew Nintendo's general demographic. Wish I had spent my money on a real racing game, like Burnout Paradise or something.
[QUOTE="SSBFan12"]it's also a must have for any wii owner. as well as the best mario kart game yet.I don't like it is boring and there are some glitches in Wifi.

I don't like it and I am a Mario Kart lover. I want to be honest, so NOT THE BEST MK for me (sometimes I think is a big deception). It's best feature is its solid Wi-Fi mode, but sadly it doesn't demand a high skill level and certain strategy to the players, like the past versions. It's frustrated, at least my consolation lies on the fact that I would buy despite this reality and on playing MK DS (This is the best MK game yet).
Its fun but if you're in first you can get item-raped all the way to 12 which is annoying. pjacobson21
That is one of the biggest reasons why I hate this game. Also, they could have created more complicated maps and not recycle so many maps from other mario kart games, it makes them seem really lazy. I also get disconnected pretty often from wifi which brings my ranking down, that pisses me off too. Also the GC controller controls suck, they should have put the same ones as for Mario kart GC
Otherwise the wheel is fun, nice graphics.

When has a MK game ever needed a high skill level to play. thats the best part that you dont have to be great to win. Sure there are some skill and stagety needed but the best part is when your in 12 and u get a chain chomp and you get moved up to like 4th or 5th place. personally i like to game even though i only rented it.

the wheel is fun =D
BUT THE GRAPHICS DOWNRIGHT SUCK
the environments are dull, and the characters are chunky
All the complaints in this thread seem to be centered around the fact that nobody is extremely good at it. Of course the items are frustrating, it's supposed to be. Nintendo has done a good job of making their multiplayer games (including brawl with items on) suceptible to luck. It's also almost always about skill. They want newcomers to be able to jump in and play without feeling completely overwhelmed like other multiplayer experiences. The items do that. They also want the experienced players to be rewarded with a consistent level of success.
Consider this...Mario Kart's points systems runs similar to Wii Sports': Wins get you points, losses lose you points. The amount of points you gain or lose depends on your current skill level. So if you start at 5000 and consistently come in 5th-2nd, you'll get to about 6500, 6600 and then your score will stay the same. Why? Because the 5th place finishes aren't gaining you points anymore. The truly skilled players are always affected by items just like the beginners and intermediate players...they just know how to play through the frustration and win in spite of them. If the game was really just luck, then nobody would be able to consistently finish at the top. Then nobody would ever be able to increase their score past the mid 6000's. But there is such a thing as skill in MK Wii. That's why there are people with 7000+ scores online. People learn the courses, learn the best routes, learn the shortcuts, learn how to counteract items, and learn how to win consistently.
So yes, while the items are an inconvenience, they're actually a plus because they even the playing field dramatically. In fact, the game would be much less fun if the best players actually got a lead and kept it the whole race. Mediocre players would never catch up. Just think about how many times any of you have gotten a golden mushroom just seconds away from the finish line and zoomed to second place from 8th or 7th; Or how many Bullet Bills have taken somebody from 11th to 3rd in a hurry. Sure the items can get you wins, but skill gets you consistent wins. That's what the wi-fi rewards and that's what competition is all about.
When has a MK game ever needed a high skill level to play.
Have you ever play Mario Kart DS on Wi-Fi with serious gamers (high skill level)??? That's Mario Kart!
