They're the same thing just different grip design, you'll be find with the cIassic controller ;) The pro is soooo much more comfortable on the hands though, honestly its my favorite dual-analog controller this gen as far as hand ergonomics go.

I do not believe the two are identical. I believe the Classic Controller Pro has two shoulder buttons on each side whereas the Classic Controller just has one on each side.

Do you need a pillow and extra leg room for a long flight?

Same answer.

I've seen the Monster Hunter Tri CC Pro bundle for $20 quite a few times over the past year, and most stores seem to have lots of copies. Even if you have the game already it's cheaper than the controller on its own. And if you don't own the game, it's an awesome deal.

been playing it on the wiimote and nunchuck, then today got a normal classic controller, im prefering the nunchuck and wii mote as on that i can run about lining up where i need to be to use a skill im selecting at the same time.

the camera control is better on the classic one though :)

I played the entire game (and 90% of sidequests) with the Wiimote/Chuk. I always prefer this method because you don't have to hold your hands close together for hours.

Same here. In fact, I like to have my hands as far apart as humanly possible, so that it looks like i'm trying to hug my TV as I play.
