As more and more people buy the Wii, it will get more attention from 3rd parties. Already this year Nintendo has seen some of the best 3rd party support since the SNES. That's saying something.
Now, I don't know what your definition of a "good game" is, or a "hardcore" game, but I assume you look at reviews to make your decisions for you, otherwise you'd realize that there are dozens of good games on the Wii that can appeal to the harcore gamer if you're willing to branch out.
Hell, even if we go by review scores, there are still currently 67 "Good" games:

So, I assume you haven't picked up all 67 of those games that scored 75 and above (75% is considered a "good game" by review standards), otherwise you wouldn't be complaining right now. Even some of the lower-reviewed games are still fun, you just have to understand what you're playing before you play it. For instance, a game like Elebits (or Eledees, depending on where you're from) is a game that has a good idea, but feels more like a tech-demo than a full game, but that doesn't mean that it's not fun to play while you're playing it.
You have to understand that the Wii is a new idea in the gaming world. Most developers have been accustomed to using the analog sticks and 10+ buttons to do everything in their games for the past decade, it takes time for them to adjust to a completely new way to play games, and it takes time for new ideas to come to fruition. Boom Blox is a perfect example of a new way to play a video game, and for the most part, they nailed it. That game could not have been possible on other systems.
Eventually, we will see a lot more support (both 1st party and 3rd party...although I already see the support myself), more unique games, and more ways to play, and hopefully people like you, who maybe don't understand what the Wii is, what it can be, and what it is going to be, will one day "get it".
