I have to say I love Galaxy. Probably the best game I've ever played (although, admittedly, I've never played Metal Gear Solid 4 or Grand Theft Auto IV). Including all the Zelda games, and I'm a Zelda crack addict (as you probably noticed).
I'm not playing it mainly because I'm playing Okami, and my family loves Guitar Hero. But after that I'm certainly going back to it, it's fantastic. It showed Gamespot that games that aren't rated M can still be insanely fun. They seemed to forget that (Kevin Van Ord and Jeff Gerstmann in particular). And Nintendo proved it to them. Again.
For proof of the above, compare the reviews of Twilight Princess and Metroid Prime 3 to IGN's. Now compare the reviews of No More Heroes.
Exactly.
As great as No More Heroes was, anyone who believes Twilight Princess and Prime 3 are worse than it just plays games for blood, or is straight up stupid.
Why is it most people on this forum are smarter than the Gamespot reviewers?

That's a dumb thing to say. Not everyone has the same exact taste in games as you.

well you lose. and this isn't the Xbox forum anyway.
No one said it was...
he sold his Wii and has a 360 in his sig.
you lose too.
But this topic still applies for me. It is asking if you still play SMG and I can honestly say no because I neither have it nor my Wii anymore. But who cares?!?! Why did you get rid of a Wii for that junky console?!
Some people have different tastes in consoles, it might be hard to get that through you narrow fanboy mind.

That's true. I'm just saying No More Heroes is extremely repetitive, has awful framerates in many areas, and the sandbox world thing is extremely empty and kind of a waste of time. If you're reviewing a game and counting flaws to judge it against, I don't see how you could give No More Heroes a higher score than Zelda and Metroid.
The blood was certainly not an issue for me though, if that's what you're saying, despite that it was gratuitous. I liked it in that particular game because it was zany, weird, and strangely awesome, like the majority of the game itself. No More Heroes was repetitive, as I said above, but it didn't feel like it was getting old. I loved No More Heroes, and I'm glad Ubisoft finally produced a Wii title worth getting, outside possibly Rayman Raving Rabbids. But Gamespot finds flaws and reviews a game based on the good and the bad, so I'm just saying Zelda and Metroid don't have as many.
