No I don't think so.

Mario games are for Mario characters. DK is a character in a Mario game, that's why he's in there.

Link would have to ride epona in MK (lol) and that wouldn't fit in at all. And I can't see either of them throwing bananas or turtle shells. They just won't fit in. It wouldn't hurt the gameplay at all, but it would just be weird. I say no.

Sounds like to me you're all are afraid it'll be amazing & it'll blow all the earlier installments out of the water.

I don't play Brawl with items on. And I'm not afraid of it being good, I just don't think they belong. Both Zelda and Metroid are violent games, Mario Party and Kart aren't, Link without violence would suck, same with Samus. And they are called Mario Kart/Party for a reason. F-Zero isn't name specific, so if Samus were to show up in F-Zero she would fit in nicely. It is futuristic and there are bounty hunters, just like Metroid.

It is if I feel that way. They both show signs of a jerk, & they both give flack .

The thing is, it's slang. And the flaw with slangs is that it changes after time or it has more then 1 meaning. There's reason some don't like slang words. So in edition, if i want to say it's a Troll, it is because I said so.

I don't think characters like Link, Samus and Fox quite fit into the Mario Party or Mario Kart mould. Samus in a kart...I lol at the thought.

Or just put them in F-Zero, it isn't character specific. Samus would fit in to F-Zero.

Maybe not Samus and Link, they seem unfitting for a happy game like Mario Kart/Party.
