No, all my games are special to me

Each game is not only that game but the person that got me that game, I can't trade that away PLUS get ripped off.

I learned my lesson last generation. Unless the game is just pure garbage, I don't trade it or sell it.

I still have every game I have owned except everything from my Sega Genesis. I was 5-6ish and it was mainly my sisters' and the only game I can remember us having was Sonic. My parents sold the game and console. I still am mad at them for that.

of course. at the rate new games come out, i will never have the time to play most of my games again. if i can trade in several average games to get a new awesome games that i haven't experienced yet, then i am willing to trade. the only games i keep are the ones that are really special, like the Halo trilogy, Gears, Zelda, Mario, Smash, Kart, and others dating back to my old NES days.

I did a mistake once and traded in 3 Wii --actually, good-- Wii games, and I regretted it, they were Red Steel, The Simpsons Game and Mario Party 8, they weren't that bad tbh, and also I love collecting games, I'm a video game buff as well as movie so for me it was a big mistake

I will never ever ever ever trade in a single game, I love collecting 'em and they mean a lot to me, even the crappy ones.

I trade in the games I don't play or games I don't like that much. I can agree with Jasonguy, my games are kind of special to me.

I've been gaming for about 17 years now (I'm 20) so I know the regret of trading a good game then having to hunt it down later.

Wait, I thought you said "good" Wii games. That was probably a good decision to trade those games.

You could have sold those games for twice as much on Ebay. Also, guaranteed Gamestop sold those games for twice what they gave you. You got ripped off.

Never Ever will I trade a game. Ill get ripped off and later I may want to play the game again so I'll have to go buy it... again.

I don't rent games neither. If there is a game I am interested in I will do some research and just buy it. If I rent it and then buy it later the game is ruined for me since I will have already played it.

I never trade in games. You get ripped off, for what you can sell on eBay for maybe twice the price. I've heard bad stories about trade-ins...

I use to, and god do I regret that! I traded away some damn good games that I wish I still had like Grandia 2, Marvel vs. Capcom 2, Powerstone, Soul Caliber, DOA Extreme, all of the .hack games just to name a few. I'll never trade in a game ever again.

When I was a kid, I wasnt worried about such things as nostalgia. As each generation faded away, I sold that particular console and all of the games to get the latest piece of kit. I used to have a NES, SNES, N64, Megadrive, Dreamcast, PS1, PS2, Gamecube and Xbox. I now only have a Wii. It stings to think of all those awesome games I have gotten rid of.

Ive started collecting again, but the Wii's Virtual Console helps a lot. Even so, most of my cash goes on legacy titles.

Never have, probably never will, I sometimes play those games again. Closest thing I do is give games to friends as presents cause I'm cheap. ;)

I trade games but not at ebgames or gamestop. There's a website called the game trading zones (http://www.gametz.com/) that's been in operation for about 10+ years now. I've been a member for 5 years now and have completed 93 different trades (http://gametz.com/?x&user=therainstormlord&tab=Trades&All=1.) It works well and at least trading now gets you fair value return.

No. But I have before. Only once though. It was to trade in Metroid Prime: Hunters for Smash Bros. Brawl. Great decision as I had gotten sick of MP:Hunters. An abomination to the series to be quite honest.

Other than that, no. I never have.

I'll never trade in a game to eb or gamestop. They will give you peanuts compared to what you paid for it and what they will resell it for. I have kept every game I have ever bought. Of course there have been some bad decisions but I wouldn't trade them in either way.
