I removed it. I only use it when my butter-hands friends come to play.

No, I threw them away. They are just annoying and get in the way.

Same here, I dont feel like I'm going to drop it or anything. But it just makes me personally feel more comfortable.

I think I've just gotten acustomed to it. I feel kinda weird throwing them away or removing them, so it's much simpler to wear it. Otherwise when trying to do tricks in Mario Kart it just flies everywhere =P.

I removed it because I bought a Wiimote charger, and the Wiimotes dont fit in the charger properly with the strap on >.

I always use it. It allows me to grab something else (TV remote, mouse, glass of water) and then just swing it back into my hand when I'm done.

I don't see the point of taking it off. It's not in the way at all and like do some people do it because it feels cooler? Like "Hey check me out, I can use a remote control with no cord attached"

Just seems an odd thing to be boastful about.

They are actually pointless, I seriously think the whole thing of them not being thick enough was just made up, I tried to snap mine once I got my new ones, and had to use massive force before it snapped. And with there being less over the top motion games like Wii sports, I never use them, I don't even know where they are.

I used to wear it all the time, it just felt... right.. But after countless hours of playing it started to become annoying. So I just took it off. Yes, yes I was just like all of you. "Who would be so retarded to let go of the remote?" Anyways one day I decided to pop in Wii Sports, I tried out some bowling. I swung the remote and I just let go of it. I don't know, I was so comforatable ... it just slipped and hit the ceiling. Then I started wearing it again, but it was still annoying so I took it off once again! Now I know that it is possible for anyone to drop it I just decided to be more careful when playing Wii Sports (the most likely game to let go of the Wii remote). I always make sure other people wear it though.

No, I don't use a strap or jacket.

I used to, but then I realized "Hey, I have opposable thumbs. I'm actually able to grip onto something without fear of dropping or throwing it threw my TV. If I actually hold onto it, I won't destroy electronics or kill any household pets. Isn't evolution grand?".

Oh, that brings back memories. I leave it on but I never use it. I remember one game of Wii bowling it went straight into the ceiling fan :D. Now I have a piece of tape keeping the battery cover on.

Yeah i use it, i'm not going to remove it in case you have a game that needs it (warioware), and if i dont wear it it will flap everywhere if im shaking the remote. It also is just generally more comfortable.

It depends on what game I am playing. If I am playing Wii Sports or Wii Play then I use it, any other game I usually don't bother putting it on.

It must be some kind of weird handicap I secretly have: I feel uncomfortable with anything tied around my wrist, even a bracelet or a watch, so I used to leave the strap hanging loose, but then I noticed how annoying that was when playing Mario Kart with the Wiiwheel (which has a hole to put the strap through. So I took it off.

In games like Resident Evil 4 and No More Heroes, i don't because there isn't too much motion control. On the other hand, in SSX Blur and Wii Sports I do use it.
