I just got my ds about 2 hours ago and one of the games i got was zelda PH. i've never played a zelda game before, but i heard this one was alot of fun, so i got it. i just needed to know if you think i'll need a player's guide. im not exactly a quick-learner, and i heard this required alot of thought.

Don't buy walkthrough, it 's way too expensive. Just look on gamefaqs or on these forums if you need help. In any case, most of the time, the walkthroughs on internet are far more detailed than the ones you can buy, However, there is a big lack of picture, but that isn't that big of an issue is it?

use a faqs or something dont buy the guide. I got the guide but thats because it came free with the game. There are only one or two tricky puzzles in the game, overall the game is very easy. The guide book is 20 bucks buy its self, so its kinda a rip off.

I used online walkthroughs when I got stuck. I think using a walkthrough all the time takes away the fun of exploring. Zelda seems to give you hints, too (Ciela, the statues, etc.). That being said, I did buy the official guide after I completed the game because it looks extremely well made and it might be useful for when other family members play. One thing I did notice is that one of the major walkthroughs online didn't have the most accurate info when it came to finding the spirit gems... like maybe things switched places between preview and release? Otherwise, all the other stuff was on target. TW
