I hear you. Hopefully Reggie will as well. It's pretty sad when even GT TV interviewers pick up on the growing discontent and have to remind him about it.
Nope, we have plenty of games to look forward to this year, not Nintendo's fault if you don't buy them.dragonball3900
Yeah i agree. Nintendo cant come out with a new Zelda and Mario games every year for the hardcore gamers. There are lots of games coming out that are good, all except for Wii Music.
Which fans? The millions that left during the N64 and Gamecube era, or the ones that are never happy no matter what Nintendo does? Even if Nintendo gives them exactly what they're asking for.BubbyJello
I'm sure we all asked for a 2D Sidescroller, a sequel to a free, casual game that came with the system, and Animal Crossing Wild World with voice chat slapped on.

we got kicked in the balls multiple times. Once when zelda was a port from gamecube. Second when we started getting more ports than original titles. Third, they act like the wii is a gamecube, and don't even try to do better, except for the few visualy impressive games like galaxy, brawl, kart and metroid. Fourth,no showing of ANYTHING good in the slightest at E3 it made me cry a little, all I have to wait for in the next 6 months is the conduit, I would sell the wii if it worn't for the promise of a new zelda and mario always lingers above my head.

I was referring to the past, not the future.
In the one and a half years we have had the wii weve gotten Super Mario Galaxy, Metroid Prime 3, The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess and Super Smash Bros Brawl and more are on the way.
If they came out and said "nope, were done with Marios and Zeldas, thats it, no more of that." then I would feel like Nintendo kicked me in the nuts but the games are coming maybe not soon but eventually is good enough.

...Okay, good.
I would assume that they have another zelda in development for the Wii, but I don't think we will be seeing another Mario on the Wii anytime soon.
Remember Nintendo still has other franchises to fall on like Starfox, Kirby, F-Zero, Pokemon, other mario characters (Wario games, Yoshi games, etc.), Donkey Kong (although I may regret suggesting that another good DK game will come out), and of course, the Wii game series like Wii Sports and Wii Music (Wii Sports 2 looks cool, Wii Music on the other hand... lol)

You know, there is something I think you all are not picking up on in the disappointment of others. I'm just going to quote a professional reviewer on this to explain it, because Yahtzee Croshaw does it best. Even though the first quote is from early on in the console war, it still rings true. The second is recent.
• "The Wii's game line consists of the usual nintendo staples of Zelda, Metroid, Mario, etc. because Nintendo's policy seems to be that if you beat a dead horse vigourously enough, its constant twitching and jittering will at least give a semblance of activity. But of the big sellers, only Zelda is currently out and the rest of the available games are a cavalcade of mediocrity." (Console Rundown)
• "A world without Nintendo would be a far bleaker one than this, yet there's something about them I find incredibly infuriating. They've got enough money to buy the earth and all the heavens and a fanbase so devoted that they could release a game about a sewage-encrusted rapist and it would still sell like billyo, and while they sit in this position that many game developers worldwide with slews of new and interesting game concepts would happily hack off their wedding tackle to occupy, all they do is constantly remake the same games … Since it raised a generation of latch-key kids and everything it seems that Nintendo is the only company we allow to get away with this kind of thing. Imagine if anyone else did it. Imagine if Valve released Half-Life, then a few years later they released Half-Life again with exactly the same plot but with better graphics, different level design, and maybe one new gun, like a tube that shoots lemons. We'd think they'd all gone raving mad - they'd be in drug rehab before Half-Life Citrus Bazooka could even hit shelves." (Phantom Hourglass Review)

Nintendo is making great games. Give them time. So suck it up or grow some balls.
That nintendo is kicking all it's real fans in the balls?JelloFiendI think of it like this ... it is like having a girlfriend that has always been good for you. Then she got unattractive, quit doing anything to please you, demanded that I stopped my usual hobbies and then tried to replace them with stuff only her new friends like to do, and promised sometime in the future we would do something together again.
Last I saw raah, he was giving the same advice: look elsewhere; buy other consoles. I think this guy's a $ony plant for sure.
Don't listen to him! You've made a commitment to your gf and just because you two are going through a rough patch doesn't mean you should stray. Think how bad you'll feel. And trust me - things will NEVER be the same again, even if you reconcile. She's just trying new things and trying to find herself, her place in the world. You should be encouraging and supportive. Tell her where she's going wrong and help her in the right direction. ;)

Grow some maturity.
There is a good reason I said Girlfriend. Not Wife or Fiace... This is important to realize. Girlfriends are disposible, if you take it further than that it is completely different.Last I saw raah, he was giving the same advice: look elsewhere; buy other consoles.
