Does anyone else hope a Final Fantasy V and VI remake on the 3DS look better...

... than the DS remakes of III and IV? I mean, the DS remakes are nice but I'm tired of seeing polygonal character sprites on screen. I hope that the remakes on the 3DS look more like realistic character models as those seen on the PSP (e.g. Crisis Core, Dissidia Final Fantasy, etc.) and less chibi-like (e.g. Final Fantasy III, IV, Heroes of Light, etc.). Considering the 3DS has stronger capabilities and more storage, I think Square-Enix can do this. Anyone else hope so too?

I haven't played FF5, but I think it's better suited to the chibi style than 4 or 6. Just look at the main guy's haircut.

I don't crave such remakes as much as I used to. Perhaps a new game would be nice? If that Warriors of Light game is the best Square Enix have got... oh my.

Yeah I think the remakes to be around FF X level but I really hope that they're around FF XII level

Yeah, I am hoping they are comming out with both Final Fantasies V and VI for the 3DS, since they totally just blew them off on the DS after the release of IV.

it really depends on what they wanna do, its more up to them ( developers ) in what they are trying to archieve. Look for example at ridge racer. Everybody can clearly see that the devs are simple slacking big time, and that it has nothing to do with the capability's of the 3DS.

If final fantasy tryes to port those versions towards the 3DS, the image quality etc will improve by alot compared towards the DS. specially the sprites. But it all depends on the developers really.

Look for example at zelda oot 3D. Dont get me wrong i love the new improvements, but its nothing like on quality base compared towards twilight princess or the new wii title. this comes because the devs wants to hold the original feeling towards the game. Either way. the oot 3D is improved by alot. but still gets limited by the developers idea's of what is right.

I really hope they gonna create a compleet new final fantasy for the 3DS instead of remaking all those old versions, and utilize some nice 3D footage.
