Does anyone even hate Super Mario Galaxy?

yes, this sums up what i thought too. the swimming was annoying, VERY annoying at that, the underwater boss fight against the giant skeleton fish thing also drove me crazy as i '' game overed'' like 4 times. bowser wasnt too difficult, just too soon. all other boss fights were cool and brought a new element to the fight, alot of the time with the mario form-changing ability things.

It became popular because its mario. It appeals to a huge audience. It didn't just appeal to families and casuals :|. There is also no such thing as "casuals" so stop using it.

I don't think it became so popular only because it's mario. okay there are a bunch of people out there who buy literally everything with a mario brand on it, but there are also guys like me who don't have any nintendo background. and i just bought it because the whole idea is great, the graphics are good and the level design is awesome. only downside it has is the story which is a little bit too childish and some levels are too easy, but that's all. best game on the wii imo.

Geeze. If anybody hates Super Mario Galaxy, they hate gaming.

I can accept if somebody doesn't like the character or the storyline, but to hate the game itself is to hate all that is good in gaming. Galaxy is, without any doubt, a masterpiece of gaming and for anybody to say otherwise is, quite simply, an act of blasphemy.

I can accept if somebody doesn't like the character or the storyline, but to hate the game itself is to hate all that is good in gaming. Galaxy is, without any doubt, a masterpiece of gaming and for anybody to say otherwise is, quite simply, an act of blasphemy.

I think Super Mario Galaxy blows. Been gaming for decades. Own nearly every system out there all the way back to the Atari 2600. I bought this game for my kids thinking it would be guaranteed great because it was a Nintendo first party exclusive and the Mario games have a great pedigree.

This game is so overhyped it's freaking ridculous. I don't think I'd even rank it in the top five *Mario* games much less rate it as some kind of all time masterpiece the way everyone on the net always touts it to be.

The game is epic. I'm sure you can hate/dislike SMG for whatever reason, but to say that the game is not of high quality is pure bs

I think Super Mario Galaxy is a bit overrated. Don't get me wrong, I love Mario! I just think other Mario games were a little better. If anyone asks: No, I don't hate Super Mario Galaxy 2. I freakin' love it.

I think Super Mario Galaxy is a great game. It has fun levels that are not too easy and not too hard. Again great game.
