Hell yeah; Wii Play is cr@p. For me it just isn't fun. Sure there are some funny little games like Cow racing, but there is no real reason to come back to it. Now that we have titles like Wario Ware imho Wii Play is close to pointless. Do we really need a "game" to teach us how to use the controller when the Wii comes with Wii Sports packed? I think not!
it's not meant to be bought as a game, it's just a little extra thing for ppl that need another controller. It is downright boring but I wasn't expecting much from it to be honest anyways. Even wiisports gets old after a while.
I've had it since launch as I bought it solely for the remote, but I have to add that I do enjoy it with my gf as we can get competitive without having to be swinging our arms :) hey the way I tihnk of it was that for £5 I got 9 mini games that I could play with people for them to learn how to use the remote :)

id have to agree. did everyone really expect this game to be like SSBB? it certainly seemed like it. the whole purpose of Wii Play was to show off what the Wii Mote can do, and get players used to different controls; just like Wii Sports. It obviously isnt going to be an epic game like Zelda, so everyone chill out, and shoot some billiards with Wii Play.
what im going to do is get it then trade in the game so ill have a free Wii remote because from the looks of it its not really a game you should have looked forawd to like me ......... *sob :cry:
It's a 10 dollar game that gives Wii owners a glimpse at what the Wii can do with the Wiimote. How exactly did it fail? Jaysonguy
It's fantastic if you have friends, family, wife, girl friend, lover, mistress, etc... who aren't big video game people. It's a great starter to pull those people to our side!
d70k, no i didnt think it was a disappointment, but thats only because i knew exactly what it was going to be like before i got it, and so i looked at it as a £5 game bundled with a wiimote rather than a game in its own right. i've played through it and unlocked all the levels and not touched it since then. i really really really wouldnt recommend renting this game though, it is a bundled game with a wiimote, it has little to no value as a game on its own, unless, like jaysonguy said, you want to see what you can expect from the wiimote in future agme buys
