Does your DSI click when you open it?

Hey guys. I have two black DSI's. When I open one it makes a clicking noise when it opens up and locks into place. The second dsi I have does not make the clicking noise at all. Does your DSI's make a clicking noise when you open it? Please let me know

Well my original DSI, the one that clicks, has a defective screen and I'm returning it to Amazon.com. They mailed me out a new one and require that i return the original within 30 days. Just curious, since the new one they sent me doesn't click when opened when the original, defective screen one does. Just trying to figure out if its suppose to or not. Thanks.

I have a DSl and recently got my DSi.

My DS Lite does make that "click" sound when I open it..so it's probably normal.

My DSi just has a soft/dull sound as it snaps into place.

I don't have a DSi, but my Lite does that. I thin it's a good thing. I love the click. To me, the click means gold health, and youth. And that my DS is gonna stay in place.

My DS lite makes that clicky clicky sound.

There is no click sound when I open my black DSi. It's the first thing I noticed when I opened it.

Mine is more subtle and soft. Sometimes it feels like somethings breaking.

My DS lite has always made the clicking sound (both of the ones I had)

My Red DSphat Clicked.

My White DS lite Clicked, My Black DS lite Clicked.

My Silver DS lite does not click, My Black DSi does not click.
